I was in Room 2. The cleanliness in the bathroom was bad. Shower area had NUMEROUS places with black mold. We did not notice the mold until in the morning after daylight. When we took a shower the water seal on the shower leaked out on the floor. The flooring is tile and appears to be buckling up on the edge of the shower pan. The transition from the bathroom to the room is unfinished. I took photos to support my claims and will produce copies of the photos if requested. Parking is a situation where if you get a spot you are lucky.

Easy street parking and easy check in. Easy walk to walled city. Also easy walk to restaurants and we found a pub with open mic nite that was fun and friendly.

Great place for a night in Derry. Close to city center. Nice restaurant with good food and views off back patio.

We had a large room. Cleanliness was just OK (carpet, linens, window treatments were a little musty). But staff was kind, and the bar, restaurant and outdoor deck were amazing. Lively, well decorated and with a wonderful view of the city. Breakfast was great, with both buffet items and hearty hot breakfast. They catered to my gluten-free and dairy-free requests. We were able to find ample street parking in front of the B&B for our rental car. Note: The later you arrive, the less parking there is.

A marv place to have as a base when you´re visiting Derry! The respond from the staff felt so friendly and more like I was a part of a family! :) You reach the center within a 7 min walk. The including breakfast is unusual comparing to other hotels where you have to pay extra. This one was marv! I was traveling with a car and the road outside the Hotel could be a tricky to find a space when it is also used by people living on the same street. Otherwise, I´ll of course visit Serendipity for my next visit in Derry!

Affordable, safe area about 10 minute walk to downtown area. On street parking. Overall, the property was OK, seems a bit tired and needs a little TLC.

The staff was very helpful in getting us an earilier check in because we had terrible jet lag. We were super grateful!

A great place to stay in Derry - only 15 minutes from Foyle Street Bus Station. Staff always checking to see if everything is okay and fix any minor problems which they did very quickly. There were minor stains on the bedclothes which was no issue and obviously having a single bed isn't perfect but overall very highly recommended. Breakfast really good too!

Stayed for one nite and have no complaints. 1 would stay here again without any hesitation.

The facility was really great and the breakfast was delicious the location was very good walking distance to Almost everything . there are 3 flights and stairs so be prepared for a small crime to your room .

The self-checking system is a bit impersonal. No opportunity to chat with the hosts about what to do around.

Nice B&B - buffet breakfast. Only a few minutes walk into the city. It is up a steep ish hill so that would be only thing I'd highlight.

A bit disappointed we were unable to get a room with an en-suite, though our private bathroom was only 10 steps away. Excellent breakfast provided.

Great little B&B. We stayed in the new addition and it was wonderful. Only issue we had, was the heat. We couldn’t figure out how to turn it on or off and it went off in the middle of the night so we were really cold in the morning. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying here. Walking distance to great restaurants, the wall walk and peace bridge.

We had a great view of the city. Restaurants and pubs are walking distance.

Loved the modern take on the air bnb! Great breakfast and comfortable bed. Bit of some stairs to the top floor but we knew to expect that. Fee Parking our front and a close walk to city center was great.

Do not feel it was made clear upon making reservation that private bathroom was external and down a flight of stairs which is difficult for my elderly mother to manage

The purpose of this trip was to meet some local photographers and the location of Serendipity was perfect. A few minutes walk into the main town too. I must admit I was a bit nervous as I was on my own and my room (3) has a separate private bathroom and it just down some small stairs, but I had nothing to worry about. It was not a problem and I felt very safe and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable! Breakfast was spot on and staff very welcoming. Decor was mainly beautiful but there are some areas that could do with some TLC.. I’m looking to come back and hold some Photography workshops at Donegal beaches and would have no hesitation to bring back my Photography colleagues here. Thank you Stephen for a lovely little B&B... Previous comments mentioned problems with check in but they've changed their system to a personal lockbox so you can check in whenever you wish. Nice building on residential street so parking could be the only issue. Very clean. Modern and comfortable. Great views from room 1 and dining room. Lovely breakfast. Local pub just around the corner and a great Italian restaurant at the bottom of the hill.
