Just a fantastic experience with breathtaking views of Florence.

This an amazing property. Quiet, rustic and full of history, fruit and olives trees. Staff was great! Pillows were a bit hard but that’s just my preference. I would stay again!

very friendly reception!! and cozy room

The concept of the Fattoria il Milione was wonderful if you had a car. The remoteness without a vehicle was very difficult for us as seniors. The only restaurant on site was remote to our cabin and challenging to walk too. Our fear was at night in the dark and finding our way back to cabin. We were scheduled to stay for two nights. We stressed our concerns for walking and the darkness on trails back to cabin. We asked to check out after one night and they would not refund or accommodation. Therefore we found another hotel in Florence and left by cab at 8am the next morning. The location should be described as suitable for seniors that can walk hills and trails and should mandatory have a car.
Our greatest disappointment was with the stag at the reception area they were very abrupt and dismissed our concerns for walking on unlit trails on the dark from the restaurant to our cabin. The terrain was challenging for us

Thankyou so much for making this a lovely experience for our family. It was full of character

We stayed at the property for 10 days, with kids. We had a great time, the view from the location of the apartment was amazing, we saw the Florence!! The apartment was big, has everything we needed!! We definitely want to come back next year!!!

The people at Fattoria were SO wonderful to our family. Our stay was delayed due to sickness during the previous part of our trip. The resort staff took extra care to make things work for our family, even accommodating our request for an apartment closer to the pool/reception/eatery. Extra props to Barbara and Andrea! The pool was large and clean and a big hit with all the kids including ours. Would happily stay here again

We booked the hotel for 8 days. It’s a great hotel if u plan to discover the Toskana in that area but not more than that. It’s very clean but not comfortable. Bed was to hard and we were missing furniture’s like a couch or chair. Would not book again.

Place was nice and quite, only some updates needed in the bathroom, and air condition was also not working in the master bedroom and the kitchen.

Great opportunity to stay in a very comfortable, safe, relaxing resort area. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Definitely rent a car if staying, and expect a rustic property, but this was a great value.

Such a beautiful setting close to Florence with a pool

This was my first time staying at an agriturismo. When my 79-year-old mother had an accident in Florence, I flew over to help her heal enough to fly back to the U.S. The farm was perfect for that mission. The grounds are absolutely beautiful as is the view of Florence from the hill. There are so many little nooks and crannies to explore and be alone. I loved the rustic charm of our apartment. You feel like you're far away from the city, but Galuzzo is merely minutes down the hill, with all the services you might need, including a farmer's market and a supermarket. The kitchen was well stocked enough for me to make the best marinara sauce I've ever created. Unfortunately we didn't eat out much because of my Mom's condition. If you prefer nature to the city and want to feel like a local, do yourself a favor and book an agriturismo stay. Renting a car is essential btw.

Wonderful friendly staff, and a beautiful property overlooking Florence.

Great location for staying a couple of days in Tuscany or for visiting Florence. Beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape and a short and easy commute into Florence.

Loved the property grounds and surrounding area. Peaceful and a quite retreat away from the city yet still close to Florence. Car is required

The environment was nice and peaceful. Unfortunately can't say the same about the room. The bed stinked and the bedroom was chilly at night, even that it was summer and you were not able to adjust the airconditioning to change the temperature. TV remote didn't work, so no tv. Probably had run out of batteries. About the bathroom - there was no toilet paper holder and they were up by the window. The shower was small and one of the glass doors was really loose and about the fall off. Also there was no place for shower gels, except for the floor, very inconvinient in the small shower booth. There was no place to have towels in the washing area. The hangers were by the door, which was couple of metrs and a few steps up from the actual washing area. Not to mention that , yes there was shampoo and shower gel "hotel size" bottles, which had been in use by some previous guestt and the tiny bottles were almost empty. Kitchen had dish washer, but no detergine. We could have washed the dishes by hand, but nothing there either. There was also a laundfy machine and no detergant for that either. Why would you bother to have the service in the room "kind of available", if in practice you can't.use them unless you go and buy all the detergants yourself? The room would have needed quite a few and inexpensive small improvements and the experience would have been totally different I rest my case with "the price vs. quality of the stay was not worth it"

Great location, friendly personnel, great customer service, awesome breakfast. We rented the largest of the apartments being a family of six. Overall the apartment was great; however, since it caters to large groups, simple things like the washer, trash cans and the 2nd bathroom should be bigger. Beds were uncomfortable, likely due to dated mattress

I didn’t realize when I booked it that we would be so far from downtown. The 2nd day after coming back from taking a taxi, we had ants in the bed. They came in and put powder down but we really should have been able to move to another room. The “suite” felt like we were in the groundskeeper’s room. It almost seemed like a dungeon.

Cons: upon arrival, the room smelt musty. The bed - which stated was a king size was barely a double, sloped and was uncomfortable. The pull out couch mattress had multiple stains. We were under the impression it was “agrotourism” meaning a working farm. It was not. We arrived on a Monday and the restaurant on the premises was closed. The manager suggested we go to the restaurant the next day- no reservations needed- but they could not accommodate us.
Pros. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from and the wait staff were lovely. Thanks for the Tide pods- they came in handy. Room had washing machine (hung clothes out outdoors), small fridge and a toaster oven and stove but no pots or pans. Pool seemed nice but too cold for us to try due to weather. Grocery store and decent other restaurants within 6-7 mins drive.

Gorgeous property. So nice to be away from the main city as everywhere else we stayed was in a busy area. Every morning and evening I walked around the property and was in awe of the surroundings. It really does look like the pictures.

The villa was nice, beautiful scenery. A bit cold the days we were there, this location is better when sunny and warm. Absolutely must have a car, because taxi was expensive and not easy to get up there. Front desk/reception guy was rude and made faces- not the most friendly staff.

This property is beautiful, and our villa was quintessential and lovely Italian, but not walkable to the city center. We were in the furthest villa at the end of the property and it was difficult to communicate to taxi drivers our pickup location (which we needed to use every time we went somewhere). It was also considered still ‘winter’ so the breakfast buffet was closed and breakfast was delivered in a box to the door outside. Not impressed with the restaurant on the property.

Had a great time location was our base. Travel to Florence was quick. The area is a nice look into Tuscany.

You need a car to stay in this property. Hotel has a lot of green areas with amazing views. Bed is not comfortable and shower is kind of weird. Long distance from Florencia but I did not mind because I had a car but if you do not have a car, you will be spending lots of money to get to the areas you want to visit.
Checkin is ONLY available 4PM - 7 PM.

This place was so beautiful. It was the most Tuscan of Tuscan places I’ve ever been. I felt like I was living in a Renaissance painting. The room was very nice, clean, but also old and had a ton of character. I wish I could’ve lived there the rest of my life.

Beautiful setting in the Tuscan countryside about a 25 minute drive into Florence.
First room was moldy smelling and had a pool of water in the middle of the room. We were given an ‘upgrade’ to a newer building. Shower was barely lukewarm with very low pressure. No housekeeping in our 5 night stay. When we asked for toilet paper the guy was grumpy about it reminding us that we had been upgraded. Weather was cool and damp but no heating and the towel racks didn’t work so towels were damp. Very limited front desk access. Apartment was very basic but bed was clean and comfortable

Property was amazing and the breakfast was amazing! Found a pair of men’s underwear in the room. The room was very dimly lit and the bed extremely hard. Loved the ability to walk about the property and the fact that late checkin was accommodated.

We had a lovely stay at Fattoeia Il Milione! The apartments have everything you would need on vacation and even to work remotely.
We had the greatest view of Florence and the staff was very helpful. Also highly recommend their Osteria Il Milione, the food is delicious 5 ⭐️

Scary road to property. Almost got hit by driver coming towards us-she was driving across the center of road tooo fast. Both ways to get to property are small narrow winding road. Small cars probably ok. Big cars not for the faint of heart. But once you get there beautiful room .has washing machine (no dryer). Totally quiet peaceful spot

If your looking for something just outside Florence, for exploring this is a magical place, you can chill by the pool, wander the grounds and watch the local wildlife.
Florence is a tram ride away.
I would recommend a car as it is just that bit far out and taxis can work out expensive.

This property wasn’t a place I would usually book due to our accommodation being more rustic than I was expecting. However, we found the grounds so peaceful and the views so stunning, that I would go back there. The pool was lovely, the breakfast was amazing and the staff were helpful. We bought and prepared dinner one night and ate outside under a natural pergola and it was very romantic. A good place to stay for those who like the countryside, but also comfortable accommodations.

The owner is patronising and not helpful. We were told after arrival that the reception/pool/breakfast serving was a 15 mins walk from the apartment. The walk is dangerous and uphill and no mode of transport is provided to and from. If you were a less able/elderly person this walk would be impossible, and it’s not advertised at all. Reception closes at 8pm. Taxis are hard to come by. We waited an hour to get a taxi and were told ‘it’s common sense to book the night before’, and we’ve never had this issue before. Even if it was the case it would be nice to get this information beforehand as we are not familiar with the area, thus would actually book beforehand. We were told public transport to the area is also unreliable. The location is very remote. Wouldn’t stay again and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Excellent location for a family who is travelling by car. Facility is on a top of a tuscany hill close to florence, sienna, luxury outlets. Breakfast was ok, pillows were a bit hard, and you need to wait for water to warm up

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Fattoria il Milione. The location strikes a perfect balance – offering a peaceful rural retreat while remaining conveniently accessible to Florence.
The staff was exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service throughout our stay. The spacious rustic apartment exceeded our expectations, offering a charming and comfortable ambiance. This was a refreshing departure from the typical city hotels we encountered during our Italy road trip.
For those seeking tranquility and an escape from the urban commotion, we wholeheartedly recommend Fattoria il Milione. Our time here was truly enjoyable, allowing us to unwind amidst serene surroundings, away from the usual city hustle and bustle.
