A lovely hotel in a superb location. A tram stop is right across the street, and the Rathaus square (and Christmas market, Vienna's largest) is an easy walk. Staff were very nice, and the breakfast buffet is sumptuous. We loved Eiles, the coffee bar/restaurant just half a block away.

The hotel stay overall was ok but there were different situations where I felt like it’s definitely not worth the money I paid for such an experience. Before the trip I wanted to call and secure a flight transfer. The lady at the reception was definitely not friendly, her tone was annoyed and It was very uncomfortable for me. When we got to the airport, no one was waiting for us. After some back and forth searching for our name on the screens drivers held up we called the hotel. The person answering was very quick to say that I didn’t book my transfer in time and there’s nobody coming. Explained that I did it in the early morning and after several back and forth calls we have gotten a taxi. It would’ve been cheaper and frustration free experience if we have booked a random taxi ourself. The check in and facilities were ok, but overall cleanness was not that great. We agreed to cleaning every 2nd day but the room was not properly clean. We could still see the breadcrumbs from the 1st day after they clean. The hotel claims to be smoke free but there were people smoking in the hotel door facing the restaurant so we were forced to go away. The staff never bothered to say anything to the persons doing that. The facilities were good, the sauna and the gym. No complaints there, gym was a bit small but I guess it’s enough for a short stay.

Location was perfect. 20 minutes walk to reach most of the old town areas, parks and restaurants. Rooms are so spacious, although I didn’t like the bathrooms being open area with the room.m, with only a curtain separating them. I also hoped that there was a Concierge desk to help us. Otherwise all front desk staff were very helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like the Taxi arranged to take us to the Airport charged us €10 more than what we told by the hotel employee.

Wonderful hotel, a true gem

Beautiful, comfortable hotel, within walking distance to everything! There’s a tram stop right by the hotel and a subway stop within 10 minutes. We loved it! If you opt not to have the hotel breakfast, there’s a great breakfast place just down the street (Cafe Eiles) and a bakery next door. The staff let us check in as soon as we arrived, way ahead of the check in time.
