NO HANGINGS CLOTHING AND TOILET TO SMALL.

Our room was tiny and needed a refurb of the bathroom, the parking is a long way from the hotel, with a choice of free street parking 3 streets away or permit parking in a town carpark. However, you can unload/load my hotel and I knew about this. Despite the negative things I would recommend this place, our welcome was so friendly and it was a 5 minute walk to the beach. For the amount we paid it was great value for money. We even had a friendly seagull tapping on our window - although he wasn't allowed in!

Pros: Good size room, big windows, friendly staff, Excellent location. Cons: Tiny bathroom, noisy water system, smell of damp, mirror ONLY in bathroom with no plug socket close enough, permit parking only approx a mile away in a carpark with cash deposit required.

The room was as described very good, the only little thing was that there was no on site parking.

Parking not as described. Room obviously not checked before occupation as BED BUG infestation discovered by customer after unpacking.

Nice and clean, room very small but did book a small room. If we stay again will book a bigger room. Good location. Julie.

Bedroom was clean and warm, bathroom very tired with mould in parts, food is not available, no overnight parking. Nearest parking is 1/2 mile away. Convenient for central Weymouth and only a 6 minute walk to the train station and even closer to the sea front.

Lovely stay, owner was very helpful upon arrival, bedroom and ensuite was clean, plenty of tea/coffee/milk/shower gel etc. Bed was a bit creaky but other than that it was fine. Would stay again.

The room was cosy and really well presented and clean. The staff were really approachable and even with a slight problem with are room they were happy to rectify the problem with no hassle. Perfect for a weekend away and right on the doorstep of the beach. Close to the train station and town so ideal for anyone travelling by train or coach. I would recommend highly.

Room was very small for a double bed!! Not much room to get around. Very cramped no where to hang clothes.

Very basic and had an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. We informed the lady and she came and sprayed some air freshener which didn’t have much effect as it smelled like a dog had stayed there. It said that there’s parking at the hotel and when we arrived was told it had changed about a month previously and we had to park over half a mile away on a pay and display car park. As I only booked 2 days before our stay and even rang the hotel before booking so I think I should have been told about this. We were given a parking pass for one day however as check in was 2pm we had already paid to park from 9am and then had to drive and find another car park where we could use the pass. As it was very busy we had to ride around and around hoping to catch someone leaving to get a space. A good idea would to inform guests that there’s no parking at the hotel but on arrival you can pick up a parking pass from the hotel and park the car once and save a lot of messing about.

We had a very comfortable stay, our room was clean and had everything we needed over the three nights. It's also very conveniently located with a less than 5 minute walk to the beach.

We had the family room for a night which was great! The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have the coffee area. The terrace / patio area is such a lovely space to chill out in. The gentleman who greeted us at the lodge was really friendly and polite. Definitely would stay here again.
