Love it

When we got to our room one of the beds had a soiled stain and the phone in the room didn’t work. I used my cell phone to call the front desk. I held for 30 minutes before anyone picked up. They sent housekeeping and changed the sheets and we noticed the floor was wet from the AC unit. They sent maintenance and she told us that we may swap rooms because the room below us had a leak from the ceiling. We packed up and when maintenance arrived, they used a wet vac to get the water up and said it was leaking through the window and we should be fine. I finally went to bed after midnight. She also said they were extremely short staffed and only had 5 workers when they had 20 before. I asked to be compensated for some of the stay and they said I would have to deal with Expedia. They wouldn’t be able to help with that. It was not a pleasant experience. We were tired and needed to rest before our next early day of activities.

A beautiful view, and a lot of outdoor activities, clean and well-maintained

We loved the zip-lining, kayaking, hiking, and Anna ruby falls. Nice views of the north GA mountains. Lodge rooms are fine for our fam of 4. Strong weed smell in our hall, but maybe it’s not always like that.

10 yr anniversary, we wanted to go somewhere different. I like the activities offered @ the Resort and how close to Helen.. We hiked the falls .. great time.. the hotel had everything you could need.. nice firm bed.. great View. Looking forward to next time.

I liked that the lodge was tucked in the woods. The lodge was big, warm and inviting. I didn't like that our only option for breakfast on the weekend was a buffet. We don't typically eat that much food so ended up going to town for breakfast.

Great getaway for our anniversary. Away from the bustle of Helen, but close enough to see all the sites.

Unicoi State Park is beautiful. It was so relaxing to be surrounded by the beautiful landscape and lake.

Great hiking trails and zip line. The restaurant was very conveniently located.

The buffet doesn’t offer lunch and dinner anymore and the breakfast they did have was not good and not worth $40 for the three of us. Had the same exact breakfast at hotels for free.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was amazing. Very relaxing, clean, and peaceful. We will definitely be back with our family.

My wife and I enjoyed the atrium area in our building with the fireplace and big screen TV. The seating was comfortable. It was nice to have a place other than our room to hang out and watch some TV.

Loved how close it is to the excitement of downtown Helen and we could escape to the serenity of the lodge and the nearby lake. We will definitely be back...with friends. Chef Peter was fantastic.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was dust in the bed, floors and tables. Housekeeping didn’t cleaned in the 2 days we stayed. The parking is not close. The Restaurant, the food was good for the price. But overall considering de price was ok.

The hotel physically looked amazing but the staff was very short not really pleasant 😕 which i thought was very strange due to the location 🤔 if guest are traveling from all over the world the last thing they want to encounter is someone thats not pleasant from those hours of traveling Its like taking your kids to Disney world and mickey mouse is in a bad mood 😕 doesn't make sense

Good stay. Family enjoyed it. Beds were kinda hard and the AC unit being next to the bed kept whoever was laying next to it freezing all night. The vent hit directly onto them. Bad placement for unit.

Bed size is very small for sleeping of 2 people in one bed. It’s said Queen size but feel like full size bed (very small).

The hotel needs more cleaning, there is a lot of dust and cobwebs.

For the price paid you would think you were going to get an updated room and facilities. it was way below expectations. not worth the price with all the fees attached. would rather have stayed at a Days Inn.

The Lodge rooms were very clean and updated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Just an older property, but a good place and price. The bar up stairs had fun thinga to do. Parking was really nice and staff was helpful.
