This is a good hotel in a bit of a poor location. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is nice and the staff welcoming.

Excellent value with good breakfast included. Convenient for the station making it an ideal base for our visit to London.

I often stay here when I have an early flight from Luton. The hotel is attached to a shopping mall and is a 5 minute walk from the station. It's very convenient. Single rooms are a little small but the staff are excellent and the breakfast is very good for the price. The area is grim and there are some people staying at the hotel who are obviously being housed by the local council as emergency housing. But other than that it's an excellent hotel. I've stayed here many times

My stay was good. There are challenges with persons smoking drugs outside the hotel.

This stay was not very good. I have stayed here 3 times previously over the last month but this time I wasn’t happy. My room was freezing, you could see the table in the room hadn’t been cleaned properly and I was woken unnecessarily twice in the morning by housekeeping!

Good location. Next to the mall and transport hub. However the breakfast is monotonous. Rooms are clean and bed comfortable. Rooms were cleaned daily,if requested.

I think it was my 3 time at Thistle. Nice and clean as always. Close to everything. Ran out of bacon early at the breakfast. Close to center.

We stayed night before early flight so didnt get to have breakfast,rooms were spacious and comfy,staff lovely ,walls a little thin! And unfortunately fire doors are always going to bang,but would stay again ,overall really good

Had a really lovely stay, at the thistle express in Luton. Staff were very friendly and helped us in many ways.

No tea in room nor kettle in room Room was cold upon arrival, Very small room of furniture in the room was badly organised, kept on hitting my leg between bed and table at the desk. Carpet had a lot of stains and look dirty, Bathroom floor cold, I had sniffles the following morning.

Amazing overnight stsy

Took 45 minutes to actually access my room after arriving at hotel as they say booking wasn't on system - didn't want to check by reservation number initially as they said processes to follow. So I could have accessed room immediately if they had used common sense and taken reservation number. Room was far too hot and they keep fans in the room as they are obviously aware of this. Fans are noisy and don't really help to create a cool environment. Also rooms are very basic, and not of a high decor. Also no tea or coffee in room and have to go down to lobby if you want it.

This was perfect for us in a family room (3 adults), central to shops but 10 mins from Luton Vale crematorium. Parking is limited be we got a space so was happy with that. Nice breakfast too.

Tired looking building from outside in town centre

Does what it says on the tin, clean and tidy accommodation with a comfortable bed - close to Luton airport which is convenient. 24hr check in is also useful, we arrived at midnight and left at 5am.

We had an overnight stay before early flight from Luton. Rooms were ok, carpet was very stained in the room and general wear and tear visible. Bathroom and bedding was very clean. Reception and eating area downstairs was very nice. The hotel area outside is not the best, would not venture out late at night. Lots of people hanging around outside along from the hotel. The noise outside in the middle of the night was terrible. Sounded like gangs passing past. We had an early flight so got up at 4am we were very quiet in the room but the person in next room stared banging on the wall then came and kicked on our room door. Terrifying experience. I phoned reception and they sent security up and they sorted it out immediately. They staff and security were very helpful and apologised and advised the person would be removed from their room. Would not stay again due to area.

It’s nothing special but great value for short stay with early morning flight. Staff are friendly and helpful and sort early taxi for you. Only thing to improve is soundproofing windows as lots of noise from external areas

The area surrounding the hotel is a bit noisy due to the proximity to the mall. Other than this, the room was up to standard, breakfast was good.

Stayed for 3 nights no room service had to bring down my own trash and use one towels.

No AC available but other than that, great hotel for the price for a transit night

Was not happy with my stay with my disabled child

Location easily accessible, everything shops etc all nearby. Transport buses train also close by.
