We stayed for 2 nights. A family of 8. It was a beautiful and clean space. Instructions and guides were clear. The neighborhood is beautiful. 5 minute walk to the beach!

Excellent experience.

We had a great time at Hilton Head. This location is excellent with walkability to the beach and pool, and Palmetto Dunes was a great spot in general. Great grill, washer, dry, and dishwasher available. A/C worked well. There was a minor snafu with the wifi (the password didn't work on the network listed in the listing or in the binder at the property, but did work when we tried it on the unit's 5G network), and a very minor problem with a leaning AC vent that the owner quickly had repaired. The outdoor shower was a very nice plus, as well as the beach cart, boogy board, and sand toys. Some minor cons I will mention are that the property does not really come with a lot of smaller amenities like dishwasher detergent/pods, laundry detergent, cooking oil (olive oil, etc), paper towels, trash bags (there were two trash cans with bags in the kitchens and 2 extra bags), or salt and pepper. There was a welcome kit with tiny little salt and pepper shakers, and one or two dishwasher and laundry pods. It would have been nice to not have to buy extra paper towels, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher detergent while we were there (we did). Not a big deal, but one of those "nice to have" items that we missed, though I know this highly variable from rental to rental in our experience. The last thing I'll say is the booking fee charged us $25 for parking, but then each of our vehicles still had to pay another $25 for a parking pass when we checked in. Overall 5 stars, would stay again!

We flew down to Hilton Head for a quick vacation to celebrate my son's graduation and have a celebratory dinner at his favorite restaurant. The villa was perfect for our family of 6; it was very clean, had everything we needed, and communication was excellent. We could walk to the beach and the general store (great breakfast spot). Would come again!

We love our time in Palmetto Dunes! The welcome center gave us some trouble with checking in early, but Carrie took care of it in a matter of minutes and we were on our way! Highly recommend.

We had 5 adults and one toddler on our trip, and this was the perfect space for all of us! We never felt crowded, and each room having its own bathroom was a huge plus. It was an easy walk to the beach access, and the condo was equipped with all sorts of gear including chairs, beach toys, and even a wagon. There was some construction in the neighborhood on our first day, and we did received notice that the water would be cut off for a few hours, but it never interfered with our plans and we didn’t even notice. Location wise, Palmetto Dunes is in a great spot on the island and easily accessible to lots of shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had a great time on our golf trip to HHI. We golfed several days, enjoyed the VRBO and surrounding property, and spent time on the beach. This townhome was sparkling clean, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, and well-stocked (beach stuff included) . The property owner was an excellent communicator--clear and responsive.
