I booked the room for 2 nights for 249$ I was not aware that parking is additional and the price for the second night rises to 299$ You have to make these arrangements clear for your clients

The oversized shower and beds and very friendly service made this a very comfortable stay.

We spent one night at the Le Germaine hotel, and overall it was a great stay. One night isn’t long enough to truly enjoy the amenities of this boutique hotel but we did appreciate the spaciousness of the room, the decor and the modern feel of the hotel. The shower in our bathroom didn’t function properly And we had issues when we checked in with the valet parking. To the hotel’s credit the person who checked us in tried his best to fix the situation. There was no one able to valet park our car. My husband had to sell park given the number of people checking in the same time. The hotel is next to the Byward market. As many people know in Ottawa, unfortunately there is an ever increasing problem with homeless and drug addict population in this area. There is some sort of shelter across the street from this hotel, which seems to distract from the overall sense of safety around this hotel. This is not the fault of the hotel just be aware of the area.

A little concerned about the very open drug use and homelessness around the property. Did not feel safe at times when I had to walk back to the hotel alone at night.

Loved this hotel! Staff were lovely, the hotel room was amazing. I was in the accessible room, and it was truly accessible.

This property is very close to the Rideau Centre Mall and the Byward Market. You can walk everywhere. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff are spectacular, their only interest is that you have the best stay you can. Restaurant on the property is convenient and the options, while expensive, are very well constructed and the flavors are out of this world. Only a walk down the street to the Rideau Center and the By Ward Market. The rooms are nothing short of luxurious.

It was so amazing - room was spacious, good locations, and staff members are so friendly and helpful. I had such a great time and will definitely choose Le Germain again when I visit Ottawa in the future

This hotel in Ottawa is ideal for business travelers. The rooms are clean and spacious, with well-maintained washrooms. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of Parliament Hill and ByWard Market. The location is excellent, and the staff is exceptional. This is truly one of the best business hotels I’ve experienced.

The cleaning service should be improved a llllot! The bedding is not changed with previous clients hair, even has spot. The carpet also not cleaned, has someone’s hair clip left there.

I love this place. The beds are so comfortable and the environment is soothing.

Everything was fine except for 1 big problem. At checkout the person said that a receipt will be emailed to me, as the printed receipt was unclear due to a printer problem. Well, the receipt did not come. It took 3 emails to correct an error of misunderstanding on the hotel's part, as they were not planning to email a receipt. Finally a receipt did arrive. I do not understand the problem. It should not be difficult to fulfill their promise to email a receipt. This is not the way things should be for a hotel of this price range. This is unfortunate as it spoiled what was a very good stay otherwise. The concierge was excellent.
