Amazing views from the room balcony. Liked it was close to Vagnitello

Booked this hotel as a solo traveller and wasn't quite sure what to expect. Pros: - The property is simply stunning. Right on the cliffside overlooking the sea. I got a single bed room, which was very simple but did the job. - The room itself was small, but bathroom was big and recently renovated. - The star of the show was the private terrace overlooking the sea. Unreal! It was bigger than the room and bathroom combined. - Breakfast is nice but very simple. - Bus stop right outside the hotel - Great value for money hotel Cons: - There is no beach access as part of the hotel which I wish they had made more clear beforehand. There is private beach club by the end of the cliff but it costs 30 EUR for entrance (5 EUR discount if you buy the entrance with the hotel). - My AC was broken when I checked in, so I ended up spending the first three nights with no AC during the hottest of summer months. They had a new one installed during my stay, but I wish it had been ensured that it would work before I checked in. - They charged for water bottles, which in most hotels you get a complimentary water every day.

Staff really nice and helpful, the guy at front gm desk was always helpful. The only issue I had was bugs . I couldn’t sleep good because the bugs I’ll wake up with bites and I really don’t know from where I guess problably bed bugs plus other bugs . Wish I have pictures . I thinking they need to fumigation because is bad scary that one goes on my ear . Other than that location is good with easy public transport to get anywhere. I would give them all good but I could sleep good because of the bugs .

Can't say enough good things about this property: to be clear, this is a budget hotel. But it is so well run, so beautifully situated, it is a complete pleasure to stay there. Only possible bugbear is that the walls are indeed like paper, so if that is likely to upset you then be warned. My second stay and certainly not my last.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean. The view from our balcony was divine. This place is truly a gem by the sea. The bus stop is right outside the door which is super convenient.

Great views! We had rooftop balcony so we relaxed at night with wine we bought downstairs. Front desk was helpful with taxis to port for food and drink. I wouldn't recommend walking to port, a bit of a hike. Pool was lovely also. Great beach club down the path at hotel.

Amazing pool and private beach below - the value for your money is an understatement for what you get back especially the view. The rooms were adequately basic and clean.

Beautiful view and location, private terrace, swimming pool... comfortof the bedroom was average and breakfast was not great.

Fine for a quiet and restful seaside trip but notso accommodating with a baby.

I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends. The location benefits from the most spectacular views of the bay across to Naples and the backdrop of mountains including Mt. Vesuvius. The walk to nearby Cassamicciola is very pleasant overlooking the crystal clear ocean below. I opted for half board which suited me perfectly because it took having to decide where to have dinner out if the equation! I was very impressed with the delicious Italian meals each evening so I was delighted with my choice. All of the hotel staff are extremely welcoming and I loved that it is a family run business. There is a very relaxed atmosphere. There are bus stops right outside the hotel and the hotel enjoys a very close proximity to the nearby thermal spa, which for a low price, you can easily spend the afternoon enjoying the rocky beach, various pools and sauna. I would with a doubt, return.

Hotell Bagnitiello has a good location not far from Ischia. A car and scooter rental is just across the street which is perfect. The personel were quite nice, but the room standard was low with a damp feeling and bugs in the floor. Their dinner was a waist of money but the breakfast was quite alright. The pool was really nice but closed at 4 pm. To early I think. But dispite all, the view was breathtaking!
