Sketchy area, had someone sleeping in their truck in front of their room. Argument with homeless guy out front also. Hotel was fine, location not so

I used this hotel so I could go to the Pacific Amphitheater and not drive home at night. The bed was xlnt, water heated up fast and had a rainshower, the room was clean, amenities nice and staff very friendly. I'd stay again for anything in the Newport/CostaMesa area.

The mattress cover was probably a full size on a king bed and didn’t cover the Mattress completely. Underneath the mattress was staid and the electrical outlet was not covered. We only stayed one night (because we arrived at 1 am and were too exhausted to find something else) and the front desk was not willing to help cancel the other night. These are very serious health and safety violations and the lack of help from the front desk just made it 10 times worse.

I needed something last minute & they were available clean & guest check in was easy.

The decor is fabulous and the room had everything I needed - microwave, fridge, hairdryer. Perfect. Loved it. I wish there was a hot breakfast.

Breakfast was sub-par and packaged items. The ice machine was broken, and the staff seemed put out when I asked about it. The room above us sounded like they were constructing furniture, but the staff did reach out and it got better. The drinks in their refrigerator for purchase were reasonably priced.

Staff were pleasant and the location to the OC State Fair was perfect for our stay.

I read the reviews of this hotel, and was intrigued because of everybody’s great experience. The manager. Jeel Welcomed us upon arrival. He was incredibly friendly and should teach lessons on how great customer service needs to be! He was wonderful he gave us wonderful suggestions to a local restaurant which we tried and was amazing, and gave us the lay of the land. He allowed us to check into our room a little earlier. Our room was beautiful, clean and remodeled! The rainforest shower is beautiful! The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed some time around the saltwater pool. Crystal clean and delightful! This property is very well-maintained! I will definitely be back!

I enjoyed my stay at OC Hotels once again!! Me and my family really enjoyed our entire time there together. The atmosphere was very relaxing too. I highly recommend anyone that comes to stay here . The only issue that I had was that the gentleman that was working the front desk did not really seem to be that friendly. I told him thank you and communicated my very best to him but he really came off to be quite rude .

The hotel is really nice. You could tell the owners took pride in it and the upgraded a lot to make the guest feel comfortable. I like that. The continental breakfast was good too. I was happy with it overall I would totally come here again. I could tell the owners did everything they can to make the guest feel welcome and comfortable, and that made me very comfortable

Hotel was conveniently located to where we wanted to go. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and surrounding area was quiet even being by a major highway. Would stay there again.

Second time staying. Quaint and quiet. Mattresses need replaced otherwise clean and functional for catching some shut eye.

Not that great. Bed was HARD AS A ROCK!! Towels were scratchy. Said water was free when we checked in. Went to get some and they charged us. Only good thing it’s walkable to the OC fair

Room was nicely appointed. Bedside light with changing colors a nice touch. Bedding & towels in good condition. Sufficient parking. Pool was clean wiyh an attractive sitting area. Staff were not present for morning breakfast & offerings were mediocre at best. Coffeeachine broke down.
