The room was very dirty, the carpet had so many stains, the washroom wasn't cleans, the hair dryer dirt and with someoelse's hair all around, the bathtub wasn't in good conditions (really old) and missing maintenance in the washroom. For a four stars hotel it was very disapointing.

This is a nice hotel. But the parking lot makes it difficult for uber drivers to find and get to the entrance. The room was ok. The bathroom was a little dirty. The top sheet was above the blanket. More training of staff is clearly needed. The hair dryer did not work.

Very comfortable stay, comfortable bed. Relaxing hot tub, pool wasn’t crowded, had a nice gym but was feeling a bit lazy.

Hotel was very clean in good area staff was amazing but the bed was very very uncomfortable. Felt like no support sagging in the middle. Sadly the reason you get a hotel is for the sleep so uncomfortable bed is not ideal.

Nice stay at this hotel. All staff members very friendly and helpful but I will say we were on the 4th floor and the internet was VERY slow so if you need to work I suggest you go to the conference room where the internet is REALLY fast. Not much to do around the hotel so you need a car to get around

Check in was great and got to do so earlier then the posted 3pm. They put us on the top floor away from floors with visiting sports teams, which was nice. Price is good but you need a car if you are wanting to visit downtown Montreal. We stayed two nights. The room was clean but oddly the cleaning staff didn't come in to make the room after the first day. The pool was dirty and shower in the pool was broken. If you only want a room to stay between traveling then it's pretty decent. If you plan on doing other things at the hotel then I'd look elsewhere.

When they hand out boots for your car to prevent them being stolen, there is a problem.
The restaurant is not what it used to be. Understaffed and avg. food.

The rooms were dirty and dated.
It’s about a good 15 minute drive from the airport.
It’s at least a 25 minute ride to downtown Montreal.
The fact that the hotel gives out wheel locks for your vehicle speaks volumes about, the safety of the neighborhood. It was appreciated. I would choose not to have to do this again. We did arrive the night of the big storm on August 9. The elevators were out of service until Sunday morning.
Overall I would not visit this property again and I would not Recommend it

Amazing hotel! A few things like ice machines need replacing but otherwise the hotel is really great and has a nice restaurant on the ground floor too. Great to stay at a few nights when travelling or with family

Some issues with room (I.e safe not working and door not locking) but overall good place to stay. Maybe I got to a bad room but overall clean and friendly place

I stayed at this property before and had a great experience. But this last time was the complete opposite. There was not enough staff working on site to accommodate the amount of guests. There was a fire alarm so the entire hotel was evacuated and then everyone had to walk back up the stairs because the elevators weren’t working. In fact, the elevators were not operational until the next morning.

Bed was really comfy. Only $60 (one time charge) to have our dog with us. Quiet area. Somewhere to stay if you have a car and aren't looking to be in the heart of the City. We stayed here to be able to easily visit my family who live in the west island of Montreal.

As soon as I get out the elevator to the room carpet dirty when I go into the room doors inside not function entirely the place look old old ,. I think they need to keep up their maintenance. Comfort Inn quality Inn they have better service

Nice comfortable rooms. Pool and hot tub were warm. I think housekeeping were understaffed but it was decent. The gentleman working the morning shift at front desk was excellent, very helpful.

Based on some other reviews I expected this hotel to be a dump. It wasn't. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom well appointed with a large shower. Good TV with typical Montreal cable - no premium channels like HBO. Air conditioning was a little noisy and cycled between 73 and 69, otherwise no complaints.
The restaurant has a limited dinner menu (I didn't stay for breakfast) so if you have the option, go out. I had the chicken caesar salad which was decent and plentiful.
What I didn't see was an airport shuttle (or any reference to one on their website), which all so-called airport hotels should have. So, I believe you'll need to find your own way to the airport.

Overall stay was good. Room was not cleaned during our 2nd day. I spoke about this to the representative at the checkout. He was very receptive and apologised. He said cleaning was at request only & should have been communicated to the guests during check in process. Staff were polite and helpful. You need to have a personal vehicle to drive around for food and other convenience.

I bent down to pick something off the floor and there was dried up spilled coffee everywhere. This was far from a 4 star hotel I would not give it one star.

The hotel was clean with a quick check-in and checkout process. There was no bottle of water in the room, which I assume is standard in Canada. While nothing happened to our car, I noticed they added an additional tire lock for safety on expensive cars.

It was a disappointing stay at Novotel. I expected a much better service from a hotel this esteem. The air cooler of the room turned on and off in the middle of the night interrupting our sleep, the flash system of the toilet was not working. The coffee maker also stopped working during our stay. The hotel did not even provided complementary water bottles and also had super minimum

The front desk was really nice and I like that they have wheel locks for protection. The only thing is that there are apparently a lot of robberies there. So definitely ask for the wheel lock so your car doesn’t get stolen.
The hotel was clean and the showers were clean which is a huge plus.
