After an accident they changed our room to a lower floor looked after us extremely well. Help with everything we needed. Every thing with in 5 mins walking distance, supermarket , Pub ,laundry, takeaway Indian Restaurant. Close to beach. We were due to stay 2 nights ended staying for 5 nights ,great price for location and service.

The room and service was excellent but I just dont like their shower, it is so hard to control and balance the water temperature. It could either be too cold or too hot. Overall, our stay was really nice. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Great hotel

If you are use to hotel experience this accommodation is not for you. The location is very central to local amenities and 2min walk to the beach which is great. But once you enter you are basically in your room which is clean and tidy for the price you pay.

Was a great place to stay for a couple days, very friendly staff and the room was perfect with a nice view. Only issue was parking, with limited spaces outside definitely need to do some research before hand if you plan to drive. Great time overall, thanks

The host was very freindly, welcoming and accommodating. We had a double room which had an amazing view of the sea amd the most comfortable bed ive ever stayed in.

Richard at Marine View Hotel has been a warm, welcoming and wonderful host right from the beginning, especially coming in from a rather hectic business week in London. This stay was exactly what I needed for some peace, quiet and safe space to recover from a terribly delayed onset jet lag coming from Singapore and the work week in London. I appreciate him checking on me to ensure I’m comfortable and have everything I required, as well as to respect my preference in taking precaution against covid. Other than a clean, warm, comfortable and safe environment, the accommodation is well located near the beach and walking distance to the shopping areas (local cafes, restaurants and pubs). This comes in handy, especially since I had taken a bad fall whilst in London and was trying to rest and recuperate. Marine View Hotel comes highly recommended and I will be rebooking here when I return to London in the future. (I have enjoyed my stay so much that I have also left a Google Review on Maps for others who may otherwise have reservations, or may not be using Hotels.com)

The host was great and helped us with parking and a quick easy checking. Very friendly. The room was basic but perfect for our one night stay. Perfect location for the lanes, restaurants and bars. Apologies for over sleeping and missing check out (so embarrassing) Thank you for being so kind about it. We would stay again

Hotel is very tired and quite basic although expensive . a fair walk away from the centre as well. limited parking on the street outside .

It was not like advertised the room was very small and it was not clean a lot of dust the bed was very comfortable

The host was the most loving and caring person. For two young females it can be quite intimidating to go to a new city and stay in a hotel. However, the host was so welcoming and made us feel so safe, he gave us the best top tips to go out for food and for a drink. The room was tidy and clean and bathroom was at the desired standards and perfect for what we needed. He showed us around as soon as we got there and showed us all the complimentary’s that we needed throughout our stay. We will 100% be staying here again and look forward too seeing him again.

Most facilities in the room were not in working order. Tv, WiFi, kettle. The milk provided was 5 months past use by date. The room was very dusty also had a bad odour within. The windows were very dirty and there were wires exposed too.

Last minute stay as was let down by holiday inn so was very grateful to get the room, met by owner very pleasant very accommodating, room was good for my girlfriend and kids all in together! Nice and clean but a little noisy as old style windows but not a problem

We booked a Superior Double room but were given a different room without being told. We didnt realise until later as we had been in a rush to head straight out - but then thought it would be fine & we didnt want to make a fuss. But when we actually went to bed we realised the double bed in the room was actually a roll out camping bed & not a proper bed. The other option was 2 twin beds - not ideal for a couples weekend away. We took time booking our hotel & specifically chose the room. We would have appreciated being told the room was different and been given the choice. Also the room was FREEZING on arrival, so we told the host as we went out for the day who said Oh yes, Ill sort that and Im going to bleed the radiators while youre out. Strange to need to bleed the radiators immediately after our arrival? But anyway, when we returned, the room was even colder as it was evening, & the radiators were still off - so we had to turn them on ourselves & get ready for the evening while still wearing our coats in the room as it was SO cold.The shower was hot but with v.minimal power. Low end breakfast with microwaved scrambled eggs. On check out we asked the host about the room & he said that he gave us a better room in his opinion. I explained that we should have been given the choice. I expect the room we booked was not available as we saw it had been slept in.The host helped carry our bags to our room - this was the best bit.

Really friendly service, even looked after my bag after Id checked out so I didnt have to carry it about on my last day in Brighton. Enjoyed the sea view from my room.

Ideal position in a quiet side road, near to the sea front and pier. It has a lovely green area of grass and plants just outside the door to relax in.
