The room is so cozy and the staff is so friendly

Location is very ideal for Georgetown exploring. Blackout curtains are great, and no sounds from the city despite room by main road. Breakfast is great. I always love the nasi lemak, teh tarik and congee, and I’m local myself. They have a fair amount of spread. Not large but comely. Lastly, the have heated toilet seats.

I have stayed at George in April 2023, and returned again in July 2024 for a birthday. There was no special touch like cake or message or towel art in the room like other 5 star hotels would do. Cleanliness has really taken a hit. My bed sheets had stains and should have been changed. Overall feel of cleanliness of the room and bathroom has dropped from my last visit. Sink and bathroom could be cleaner, along with the tile grout too. The toilet seat comes with rear cleaner, and the rear cleaner itself was gross, with sh*t stained marks and just looked very gross in general. The pool area smells like wet, cheesy socks. And that’s where our room was. However luckily the smell did not permeate into our room. Also, very misleading booking photos. I booked an executive deluxe, and there were bath tub photos in the thumbnail photos to show you what you were booking. Upon checking in, there was not a tub in my room. I went down to complain and they said it’s only by availability. I booked the room because I had loved their bath tub previously. I did not want to stay if they couldn’t provide me a bathtub experience. They managed to swap me out to a different room, from the original 5th floor room with no bath tub to a 2nd floor room with tub, on the same floor as the pool. They should be very clear with their bookings. Make separate bookings for executive with and without tub so it does not confuse guests who are trying to book a tub experience. I don’t think I will return here. Which makes me very sad, as I did fall in love with this hotel in 2023.

We booked 7 rooms, and all of us love the friendliness of your staff and they are very approachable too. The room size was lovely and adequate. Location is superb. It was a short stay due to our work commitment, such a pity. Btw, its my 2nd time staying in the hotel and will definitely return soon. Thank you

地點非常的好，到小印度丶汕頭街丶光大丶張弼士故居丶莫定標娘惹糕工廠，走路就可以到達，附近還有一間馬來超市MYDIN，可以買到檳城的名產泡麵丶巧克力丶B O H紅茶包．．等，價格都非常的優惠。（可惜沒有檳城白咖喱泡麵）

The room was huge and everything was brand new. The service was outstanding and the Hotel building itself is a piece of art.

The breakfast needs more variety and the taste was average of the items available. The pool water is too cold and needs to be regulated.
