The property was advertised to accommodate 8 to 10. Unit was old, faulty bathroom water fixture leak, tv's remote non-functional, not enough towels or toiletries. Old furniture and broken. I attempted to communicate with owner or the person who advertised the unit, it took approx 1 1/2 to get acknowledge without any resolution addressing the issues.

The Alexander Hotel had super strict rules that we never knew about. Super over priced . we couldn’t even carry a cooler to the beach. They expected you walk a block down the street if you have a cooler.

Our family really enjoyed the pool area and the facility. Jessica was very responsive to messages.

Upon noticing there was a leak the day after we arrived, we reached out to the contact number that was provided. We got a call back 45 hours later to acknowledge receipt of our call but it was another 48 hours before it was resolved. The leak was not just an inconvenience, but a hazard as I initially slipped before realizing the issue and it was also dangerous as it was filtering through a lamp. I filled a security report with the hotel and during the process they did not treat us like guests but more like outsiders as renters, they also refused to give us a copy of the report. We felt like this ordeal merited at least a couple of nights of compensation but were offered $150 to “make it right” which we declined since that was not going to change the impact this inconvenience had on our family vacation.

The unit was clean and comfortable, the location is excellent, right on the beach. Our kids loved the pools and hot tubs, and the balcony with waterway and beach views were amazing. Loved it - we would love to come back.

I took my son and his friends and we stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. The room was plenty big for five of us. 2 moms and 3 18 yrs. If you're looking for a fast pace location, I would say this is not it, but if you're looking for a nice, relaxing, cozy place... This is it!! It is in a safe location, valet & front desk were helpful in answering all our questions. Will return next week!

This place has an awesome location. We really enjoyed the pool and loved having access to the boardwalk where you could easily get to the beach. It was also in a great spot to take ubers to all of the main locations we wanted to hit in Miami. We would stay here again!

We had six grown men, young professionals aged ranged 24-32. This place was AWESOME! This condo was the perfect size for us on a long weekend bachelor party and had everything we wanted and needed for a trip to Miami! Cozy decor, nice bathrooms, and great view from the balcony as well. The Alexander resort and all the staff were super nice and very accommodating! They checked us in several HOURS early on day one, and on the last day after checkout time, they let us store our luggage in the lobby so we could still enjoy the resort/beach all day before we had to head to the airport at night! Highly recommend and, although we're a little past the frat boys phase, we probably could have fit 1-2 more people fairly comfortably.

The listing stated we would bypass the front desk and use a code to enter our condo. So not true. The front desk had us going up to our room and back many times to retrieve information. The lady at the front desk was probably one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with in hospitality. Our husbands went to buy our groceries. Upon their return the groceries were immediately snatched out of their hands until we went down to verify they were with us. One of the main reasons we rented this condo was because the trolley stopped right outside. It did not. It just passes you by. Jessica and Michal were very nice. It’s the actual condo employee that was not. The room is very dirty. There’s sand and pubic hairs along the walls in the bathroom. Built up shower gunk along the shower doors. Dirty dishes put up in the cabinets in the kitchen. The blankets smelled of bad body odor along with the pillows on the couch. I would suggest Jessica get a new housekeeper. On the plus side the beach is gorgeous! The Tiki bar employees are very nice and hospitable. We would definitely not stay here again.

This was an excellent place to stay for a 4 day weekend. There were 7 of us that fit comfortably with plenty of room. We had enough supplies and everything was clean. Location is close to everything, catching a ride only takes a minute. Nice pool area and direct beach access.

HORRIBLE!!!! They lied during booking saying it was a 3 bedroom 2 bath. It was a 2 bedroom 2 bath. It has an odor. The lights were off when we arrived. Dirty towels piled up in the corner in the living room. Dirty nasty and it stunk. ROACHES GALORE!!

Condo details were exactly as listed. Condo was cleaned very well. JEssica was truly amazing and responded even though she was out of town at the time. Great for a family that likes spacious accommodations. Full functioning kitchen with many appliances. Building staff was also extremely friendly and courteous.

The location is great. The place is really nice but it really needs a big clean. The bathrooms were dirty, shower full of mold and the bathtub had a filthy ring of dirt around it. The toilet had a rim of black mold that I scrubbed off with a toilet brush but was obviously there for a long time. The towels were old and there was sand in the bed my son slept in. Under beds and couch you can find tons of dust and other treasures. I think this has potential to be a 5 star place if someone would give it a huge clean.

After weeks of planning a 2-night, 3-day mini break to Miami Beach, I was wholly disappointed in the lack of cleaning that had visibly accumulated over time within this condo. Mold on bathroom ceilings, mold covered tiles and shower frames in the bathroom, an unclean dishwasher, dirty dishes in the cabinets, crumbs in kitchen drawers, and roaches is not what I reserved for my family's mini-break. Clearly proper cleaning, maintenance, and owner quality control have not been the norm for this condo unit.
After purchasing cleaners for the bathrooms and kitchen, an email (with pictures) was sent to the owner with a request for a refund. While she agreed with me “I agree with you the cleaning is not up to par where it should be” ; she addressed this matter by having her cleaning crew come over the next day to actually do the cleaning they were supposed to have done, regularly, before any guests arrive. She justifies not providing me with a refund by stating “Because im not a large hotel and just one unit I have a policy in my rental agreement to allow 48 hours to allow corrections for problems.” I only reserved 48-hours so how do you correct the hazardous and unclean problems in 48-hours! Mold that vast and roaches don’t just magically disappear because you bring in a cleaning crew. And if by chance it is gone from sight, then surely extremely strong chemicals were used to rid the area of harmful airborne spores and disease carrying cockroaches.
After finding the roach in the kitchen then in the bedroom after our 1st night's stay, I promptly packed my family’s bags and we left for an establishment that cared about cleanliness and creating good healthy memories for its guest.
To date, the owner has not provided any apology nor any type of equitable adjustment for a rental I seriously doubt she would want to stay in herself. Unfortunately, that mighty dollar has clearly steered her away from being a responsible and fair business owner.

Jessica was quick to respond to our our questions and the on-site staff responded immediately when had an issue with the TV.
The location was perfect for us. Just steps from the beach and an easy drive to shops and restaurants. The building is still going through renovations and can use some updates, but the condo was clean and comfortable and large enough for 6 adults. The two large beds in each bedroom was definitely a plus for us! I would stay here again.

Used the Miami Beach location for a girls weekend to celebrate my 40th. This was a great spot, convenient parking (we used the public lot just a half-block away), perfect beach access, easy check-in and out. It was plenty of room for 8 of us and had an awesome balcony with both ocean and intercoastal views. My only complaint is more about the building itself—we weren’t allowed to have our own food/drinks at the pool (so we solved that by just going to the beach instead!). Otherwise, loved our weekend here.

Valet if you’d like (or free public parking a 1/2 block away), lobby is very formal and impressive, convenient shop with must have for all guests near elevator entrance was very convenient throughout our stay, elevators clean and hallway to unit very traditional Miami which is a good thing, code yourself no key to lose, large white table to enjoy with your friends, large TV in living room, full kitchen with some simple essentials provided (think coffee pods, sweeteners, teas, pots, pans and some necessities), two bedroom both with their own TVs, two bathrooms (again with some essentials), unit well furnished throughout, AC a split system so everyone can find the level of comfort they desire without any issues, brand new glass full vision balcony has amazing view of lagoon traffic (think tycoon boats cruising by) to your left and beach and the ocean to your right, catch the door just off the elevators and make your way to the pool with everything you need including towels, pool bar, and beach access right there. It’s about 80 yards to the blue ocean, what more could you ask for. We would stay here again and would recommend this unit and the Alexander as a great place to stay.

It was my family’s first time in Chicago. Jessica was very hospitable and answered any questions that we had regarding the neighborhood. On the beach, right near the bus stop, a short 15-20 minute walk to South Beach. Apartment was clean and comfortable, very spacious.

Was booked for Nov 1-4. Upon arrival Apt was not cleaned - food crumbs in bed, stains on sheets and comforter, fake eyelashes left over in the shower. Not to mention the not 1 but 2 cockroaches found in the Apt. Was so bad my group and I had to leave and book a hotel last minute. When I FINALLY got a hold of the property manager (after multiple calls and voicemail) her exact response was "It's Florida, there are bugs" as if that's supposed to make in acceptable. I live in NYC and have never had that problem. She was not understanding of the situation at all. She also thought simply calling the exterminator was going to make it all better. I was in Miami celebrating my 30th bday with my friends. We did not need the hassle of waiting for an exterminator or ingesting all those fumes while we are there for a fun and enjoyable weekend. Completely unacceptable and I do not recommend staying here at all.

We loved staying here! When we arrived at night, our initial first impression was "nice lobby". But when we woke up and opened the window to see the view, it was incredible! The actual condo unit is very clean and updated, and the shower is awesome (and clean). I brought my own sound machine because I'm a light sleeper. It never got hot in the room, we never encountered any critters, and it was quiet (especially on weekdays). The bed frame itself is what was a little squeaky, but the mattress was comfortable (and that's saying a lot, since we are used to sleeping in a King). I have a huge fear of bedbugs in any kind of rental or hotel but this bed and condo was 100% clean and free of bugs!
We stayed for a full week and there were always chairs available at the pool. The provided umbrellas, beach chairs and umbrella were SO helpful. It was nice to be able to see the pool and beach from our window and to walk to either without having to carry a key, and the proximity to the Fontainebleau Hotel, Walgreens, and even Publix down the road was great. We walked down Collins road to lots of restaurants, too. South Beach is a short Lyft ride away, and I was SO glad we stayed where we did when we saw how crazy, busy, and loud South Beach was.
All in all, I would definitely stay here again! The hosts were friendly and made sure to fix the issue with the private wifi when we had trouble connecting, and they made sure to ask our permission before allowing a technician to enter the unit.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Two bedrooms with two queen sized beds and a pullout couch in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with the basic to cook. There's a balcony. Gym out by the pool is a little far and has no cell signal but has sauna, weights, and multiple cardio machines. Jacuzzi and pool and beach access. The only real issue was booking. Unsure if that's a VRBO issue but extra fees popped up because of the size of my party and paying with credit card.
