Fabulous location for exploring the city. Very nice hosts and a lovely newly renovated house. Everything seems to be very new and tastefully decorated. It was clean and uncluttered, and had great views of the castle.

Soap containers were empty but this is the only (minor) negative I can think of. There are a lot of stairs and no lift but we knew about this beforehand so it wasn't a problem for us.

Breakfast was continental with excellent croissant and bread. The location was perfect for exploring Carcossonne and we did not take the car out once in ou four days. The host family have decorated and furnished the house and gardens beautifully and took great care to ensure our comfort and needs our room was spacious and comfortable and our hostess gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit and. We highly recommend this property:

Magnifique! The property is very beautiful, well maintained and clean. The proprietor was very helpful and gave lots of recommendations. The room is very spacious, comfortable and well decorated, with mini fridge, coffee maker and more. The swimming pool was great for refreshing in the summer. The location is excellent, very close to the fortified city and the main sights.

Absolutely beautiful place. Fantastic room .Beautiful house and pool area. Exceptional breakfast probably the best we have ever had in a B and B. The owners were extremely kind and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely go back.

The location of this guest house is very close to the old town The breakfast was good and the proprietor kindly dried my clothes after I had used the washing machine It is a quirky and interesting property. and the proprieter was helpful and friendly. The commercial area in Carcassonne town appearred slightly down at heel but we did visit over a holiday weekend. The properieter recommended le Resevoir restaurant which was just around the and we had the best meal of our 3 week stay there

Amazing old property, resorted to a very high standard. Fabulous view of the Medieval city. Very attentive host, good secure parking. 10 minute walk to the old city. Highly recommend.

Personally we would prefer a duvet rather than sheets & blanks.

Location close to old city with parking. Welcome very good, madam spoke many languages and helped us to our room. The house was very French, full of period features. The bathroom was glorious with roll top bath. The bed was comfortable with beautiful linen. Every facility was available. Good dinner. Allowed dogs.

Magnificent, elegant hotel, a real example of how things should be done. Confortable bed in an exquisitely decorated room, fine dining in a classic French salle à manger and delightful sitting areas. An experience not to the missed.

Marianne very helpful and welcoming, the house is very comfortable and quirky. very short walk up to the Cité which is extraordinary.

This is a beautiful house in the old, historical part of Carcassonne. Our host, Marianne gave us lots of information about the surrounding area and great restaurant recommendations. The bedroom itself was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The garden was also beautiful and I can only imagine that it would be an amazing space to relax in the summer. Private parking was important for us and there was plenty of parking space available. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

excellent location. gorgeous building from the early 1800s. very well maintained. spacious room, maintained the original charm and decor. every floor has several seating areas to enjoy. the garden is magnificent. super helpful and friendly host

this would be the only reason why I gave a 9 instead of a 10. the check in time is 4:30 pm and check out is at 11 am. there is no one to welcome you between 2 and 4:30 pm in case you arrive earlier. this is a very short time to stay at a hotel and also, to enjoy the city the day of your arrival.

very interesting and welcoming couple who own and run it. lovely old house, in east walking distance of the fortified city. good room, secure parking and lovely swimming pool. great value for money.

the rooms facing the busy, ugly main road would be unacceptable. we stayed the pool/garden side, which is fine.
