Felt homely quirky and exactly what we needed

We only had one car so Parking was great and it was only 5 mins away from our location. Nice Garden.

First of all the door was hard to open. Once inside greeted by a spider on the back of the door. Funny smell as you walk in I feel some air freshners or peppermint oil for the spiders should be left out, even the smell of bleach would have been nice. House was cold, radiator sizes not sufficient for room sizes. Radiator in kids room didn't work. We all slept in our hoodies. Sofa needs a deep clean. So glad I brought pillow cases as I found hair on one of the pillows in the room my kids slept in. 2nd spider above bed in kids room. Stain on kids bed. Mould in fridge. Slug and brown stuff on kitchen floor. Back door was left unlocked, thank God my partner is a smoker or we never have noticed. I was ready to call and ask for a refund until he noticed a key above the bathroom door so we was able to lock. Plumbing issues as when you flush as it makes funny noises when you flush and turn on the tap. 3rd spider in bathroom. Hair on toilet, sink and bath. 1 TV in a 3 bedroom house seems a bit tight, should have been one in master bedroom as there is more than enough space for it. Such a nice house with huge potential, needs to be more modern, and a proper deep clean. I feel like it appears to be clean but I'm not convinced it has been disinfected between stays as stated. Floor probably hoovered but not mopped. Fridge needs a clean etc I wish I stayed in a hotel as they have standards they have to abide to. Sorry but I'm not sure previous exceptional reviews are genuine, or if I'm just fussy.

Front door was really difficult to open ,bath took forever to empty,water system took forever to warm once one bath was taken hpt water was gone xxIt would of been nice to been greated by the host, The big clock in living room nd round table was broken

The property was clean and well presented if some what dated. The internet code was insecure

IT was an easy walk into the city centre

Now way can 2 average size cars park on the front parking area - if you've 2 cars as guest meeting up from different origins, be prepared to find a side road - which isn't too hard to do within 500 metres

It was very easy to get hold of Festus if we need to and was always able to provide us with the help we needed would definitely stay again.
