A place to be away from your busy work schedule’ more calm and relaxing with the nature, the lake and the greens surrounded. The property rooms has privacy and no disturbances, clean and well maintained traditional Kerala style model villas. The food served was good and excellent in taste ordered sea food for dinner, the breakfast was a buffet served and staff at the restaurant was excellent. Overall had a good time at the resort, relaxed and enjoyed.

Reaching the Villa, appreciate more signage’s on the road and also good roads taking you to the resort.

Ambience. Staffs were cordial. Lot of activities to do.

Room maintenance need to be improved. More light can be provided in rooms. Certain plug points to be serviced.

The location, view and quietness of this resort are fantastic. Our room with a private veranda overlooking the river was wonderful. We wish we would have had more time to stay here longer. The manager at the front desk went out of his way to help us with our onward travel itenary. We really appreciate his great service!

I spent a month in India, across several cities, staying in magnificent places, and Fragrant Nature Backwater Resort & Ayurveda Spa was undoubtedly the highlight of my trip! The location is nothing short of paradise, and the service is top-notch. I sadly sprained my ankle while exercising, but the staff were so compassionate and helpful - instead of the injury ruining my trip, they made it better than I hoped it could be. The spa is unbeatable - Dr Sridevi and the other massage therapist were excellent, and even came up to my room later to bandage my ankle for me. Very happy with the experience and can't wait to go back.

Swimming pool small and water quality not good

We stayed at the villa with the pool, the room was great and included all the necessary amenities, the views from the room are exceptional, the overall experience was very peaceful and relaxing. Friendly and attentive staff, and great food at the restaurant. The resort is quite isolated which was exactly what we were looking for but on the downside, you are very restricted on the culinary side unless you have a car.

Excellent property, very beautiful and well done. Very green and well maintained. Amazing view of the lake. The staff was very helpful and polite. We were staying in the Lake facing Villa for 3 nights. Lots of space and excellent garden to spend time outdoors.

A lot of noise on the first day of our stay. The property does day-visits from outside guests. There was a group of 50+ guests who had taken over the property - all common facilities like pool, sports etc were occupied, children making noise and the group was playing loud music in common areas. The hotel couldn’t do much to reduce the volume levels even after we complained several times. There was a temple on the other side of the lake which would start playing something on loudspeaker as early as 5-6 am and would go on until late night 9-10 pm. We wanted to enjoy the calm of this beautiful property, listen to the birds, sit outside but this noise throughout was quite irritating. I am a light sleeper and would wake up everyday to this sound starting at 5 am in the morning. Eventually upon realising this wouldn’t change, we started spending most of our day outside and only reach back late night (although early morning 5 am sound was still quite disturbing). While the property overall was very well maintained and clean, I thought the rooms could have been cleaner (the Almirahs and curtains were a little dusty/had moisture).

Good restaurant and property. Friendly staff and well maintained rooms. Good view of the waterfront. The quality of the food at the restaurant was really good for the price. Even though their primary service is buffet, their alacarte food was also of good quality Swimming pools could have been cleaner as we saw that most of the guests were not wearing proper swimming clothes

Nothing. All was perfect. Only the spa packages were a ripoff

"Beautiful scenery...nice environment with quality food... well maintained rooms, very good experienced and nice staffs. Stay was awesome, room service restaurant everything was fine, traditional Kerala style cottages are a highlight. View from rooms also excellent.

The atmosphere, lake view, staff

Food is very much expensive. Even the water is not complimentary too. You have to pay Rs. 60/- for any extra bottle.

Courteous staff, Rooms were well cleaned. A nice getaway place for family.

No golf cart for accessing the restaurant from farther villas. Walking is the only option. No wheel chair access as well. Having visited the place before, we felt the place lost its flair. Lack of a bar is another reason.
