Breakfast was ok, self service. The dining room was big and spacious, with wonderful terrace. It was a little out of the city, but next to a beach. I also enjoyed longer beds, since I am a bit taller.

Not much going on there, as it's out of the city and a little out of hand. It would be nice if that beach bar was working, but on the upside, there wasn't many tourists.

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, in a beautiful landscape, very close to the beach, have some really good quality - and mainly traditional greek - food, this is your place. There was nothing we could complain about, everything was very good, except one thing.. the staff was AMAZING! They were so kind, helpful and caring with the guests, that you can experience only in a few places. This is how hospitality has to be done, and this is one thing that doesn't cost anything. Keep it doing this way!

The hotel was really close to the beach. The staff was always welcoming and chatty. The breakfast was never the same, that means we tried many different fresh delicacies every day.

Relaxed , helpful and friendly vibe with all the staff. The food in the restaurant was perfect . The little beach area, the hotel pool was small but perfectly adequate . The fitness studio was a real bonus and well equipped.

Excellent location, very close to the beach and city center of Kardamena. The stuff was very helpful and nice. Also breakfast and dinner were very tasty and there were many different options to choose.

The staff were very nice and acommodating. The location is very quiet, far enough from roads so that you don't hear traffic.

The accommodation was incredible, especially the room and the pool area with the palm trees! The staff very kind and was there for any question I had about the island!! The room was very clean, which is one of the first things i notice when i go to a hotel. The beach was really very close to the hotel with a distance of only 100 meters, but the distance from the center was about 3 kilometers, so it was easier to travel by bus or even better by renting a car or motorbike, as we did !! I highly recommend it and it will be my first choice when I visit this island again!!

Excellent Hotel. The room was very clean and the staff was so kind and friendly. The food is delicious with plenty of choices. The location is amazing. Beach is very clean with clear water, not crowded and only 100 metres far from the hotel. Definitely will recommend to anyone. Thank you Kalimera Mare!!!

Excellent staff, very patient and understanding. Excellent facilities, breakfast, hygiene, location. Amazing complex. My stay at Kalimare Mare was one of my best experiences during my trip.

The staff was exceptional. The food was excellent. Great advise regarding tours and travel.

Our room had a shower that did not have constant water temperature. Other restaurants were quite a distance from the hotel. Octobre is windy!

Tucked in a quiet corner of Kardamaina, at the foothills of the mountains slicing the northern half of Kos, this three-star hotel offers the best food I have ever had in any resort, beating four- and five-star hotels in any location, combined with a kind and welcoming staff staring Valeria who is as fluent in making you feel at home as in speaking multiple languages. The beach is a short walk away across the twin hotel Sweet Kalimera and you can get a couple of tanning beds under an umbrella for 2.5 euros, which includes two soft drinks (the homemade lemonade is highly recommended). You will enjoy swimming in warm, clear water with fish unbothered by humans, so make sure to bring your goggles or snorkeling gear and swim up to the nearby reef. If you prefer to stay by the pool, you will easily be able to find a spot in a relaxed environment. The hotel is mostly populated my middle aged Germans, so you will not be bothered or overwhelmed by loud crowds. Buses stop in front of the hotel, and bicycles and motorbikes are available for rent. In short, this hotel will bring you great value for your money, especially if you enjoy indescribably delicious food in an understated and unpretentious hotel with all the amenities of a four-star hotel but without the posers and snobs.

The 4-euro nightly surcharge for air conditioning is worth paying the extra free.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially mister Kosmas at the reception helped me with many things... The food every day was great and a lot of choice as well... Hotel is well maintained and I would recommend it for a longer stay.

The only thing that disturb me was the constantly strong wind on this side from the island as I was here for cycling... For me 19.45 to start dinner is too late but apparently this is a Greek habit.

Breakfast was tasteful and diverse. Personal (everybody) was super kind, helpful and very friendly. Getting a ouzo at the bar after dinner is a recommendation for every guest in the future. The surfcentre is also really close and friendly. The hotelcat is a cuddler and loves to get pet.

It's a 40min. walk from the city Kardamena if you have a car the hotel is easier to reach but you can use the public buses.

Was surprised when asked for air conditioning remote and figured that this “service” is chargeable 4€ per day just to use the air conditioner. The gym is in very poor condition however, still very nice that it was there☺️
