this hotel is perfect, very nice people and great food

I like everything. the only thing that was missing was a kettle in the room

We liked position and environment.

Bathroom was clean but the smell was terrible.

The new building is comfortable. Not a designer’s hand, that’s clear, however decent. The relative proximity to the beach is another good thing. The restaurant of the hotel is very good in relative terms, we tried it along 3-4 others in Neptun and we returned to Insula for better meals.

The lake has that specific smell which lends it to the building, as it ages. Also the lake is not properly taken care of, although there are waterlilies which tend to cover the waste that adds there in time. I know the lake is not the hotel’s property, but it is its neighbour.

Location , views and surface of the rooms

The view is incredible, especially in the morning, you can whiteness the sunrise from your bed. I rested very well, it is quiet and the bed is comfortable. I also enjoyed the breakfast, delicious and had a variety of options to chose from.

The wifi signal was pretty weak from my room. It did not affect me personally cause I had alternatives but it is something to consider.

The mattresses were very hard but maybe this is the style. The breakfast was good but we found the one from Lacul Melcilor better.

Restaurant staff really young and not prepared for the job. At breakfast only taking the dishes and not cleaning the tables. Breakfast was not really 4 stars and inside the room you can hear the slightest noise from the hallway or other rooms. Price quite high only for the great view while services are poor.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous lake views and spacious and clean suites. Great breakfast included and very convenient restaurant on site for lunch and dinner, which we used several times (the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and professional). A short and enjoyable walk around the lake to get to the beach. Also very close to the Neptun main strip, amusement park and other restaurants.

Perfect location for a family getaway ,gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms,staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm.
