Good Location, Bathroom is Great

Bed size is small, light problem in the room. OWNER is Tricky and Hard

War im 4 Bett Mädchen Zimmer. Super bequem, WC dusche drinnen. Küche im Erdgeschoß groß und sauber. Alles bestens. Sitzecken draußen sehr angenehm. Tolle Leute im Hostel.

Es war alles super gut. Konnte bei abreise Tag sogar länger im Lobby und Sitzecken bleiben und mein Rucksack bei Rezeption aufbewahren.

Host behavior was very kind and helpful. It was my first time to stay in a hostel but really I enjoyed a lot. Management team organized hostel very well. InshaAllah now in future continue i will stay here during my business tour in abu dhabi. ❤️

The property was in a good location and it started off well with other guests that stayed at the hostel. Cleanliness is something I can truly note over there.

The manager Cynthia was absolutely horrible with me and another friend of mine. First off, the description was misleading. It was a 12 bed room with bunk beds, not 6 bed room. The WiFi hardly worked. It kept switching to different hotspots. I upgraded to a different room after a few nights. One of my smaller lockers over there didn’t work. I raised all these issues to her and she just burst out saying “You might as well check out right now and we will ban you from the property”. I said do you know I can leave that in the review? She just outright said “I can get your review removed.” I just grit my teeth and stayed the night and left the next day. I have to place this review now considering another friend of mine Jon who was staying there said Cynthia was extremely rude with him. They kept his bag and are not returning it back to him saying they want 400 dhs. Jon was supposed to come back. They didn’t even notify Jon about this. He found out through another guest staying over there. This is absolutely horrible.

- location is on the bus line from the airport, and quiet; - night reception;

- toilet was 2 floors from the room and it was crowded; - at 9:30AM when I came to take shower, there was no hot water. The boiler was switched off and cool. They save money on facilities, they get the respective feedback; - wifi internet was garbage. Although, it seems to be a common problem in Abu Dhabi;

It was clean and the cleaners worked hard although seemed unhappy with how they were treated and management.

This is an incorrectly described hostel rub by untrustworthy people. Firstly, I booked a six bed dorm and was given a 12 bed dorm. I told Cynthia - the receptionist/'property manager' - and she said it was 'six bunk beds' so was accurate, but it was not. This is not how you list the room. She refused to change it to make it accurate. I also told her the listing said - twice - that it was on the beach and had a beach view. It was not - this hostel is a 20 minute drive away from the beach! This was false advertising and again she refused to change it. She also blamed booking.com and said they wrote it - which they do not. I used to manage a hotel in Australia and a hostel in Vietnam and know how to edit the back end of booking,com and only the owner/manager can do this. She then blamed the 'IT team' (there wasn't one). I offered to show her how to change it and she refused meaning she knew it was inaccurate and chose to keep it that way. The light and flush in the bathroom toilet in my room were also broken, as was part of the toilet downstairs. There was also no hot water in the shower in the room. She said this was a 'new problem that day' but many guests in my room told me it was not as they had been there for days and complained about it and nothing was done. The wi-fi did not work either and this was mentioned several times but they just claimed it did work. My roommate complained about the wifi and was verbally abused and told he would be kicked out of the hostel if he kept complaining. I had two nights booked (19-21 Jan 2024), then a few days in Kuwait and Oman, and then was due to come back for one night (30 Jan 2024). I did not like the hostel but the people staying there were nice, My roommate agreed to look after a bag of mine with 7kg of stuff in it while I was away as we would be sharing the room again when I was back.

Las instalaciones estaban limpias, pero había un poco de desorganización y la gente usaba camas que no le correspondían, y después se cambiaban. Está muy bien situado si vas a hacer escala en Abu Dhabi. El bus N2 o A2 para en la estación central (muy cerca caminando), y tiene servicio nocturno. Cuesta unos 4dh. Está bien para dormir un rato y darte una ducha. Se ve bastante cuidado. Se supone que las habitaciones eran de 6 camas, pero en realidad son 6 literas (es decir, 12 personas). Me parece demasiado para un sólo baño, que además está dentro de la habitación. Por la mañana me fue imposible ducharme, porque perdía el avión. El baño estuvo ocupado desde que me despertaron sobre las 7.00h hasta que me fui. No hay mucha intimidad. Estaría bien que las camas tuviesen unas cortinas. El enchufe al lado de mi cama no funcionaba. No te dan toalla, tienes que pagar por ella. Si quieres dejar las cosas después de hacer el check out, te cobran por ello. A mí no me hizo falta, pero en otros sitios que he estado cerca de esa zona me las han guardado unas horas sin coste, y me han dado toallas. Las literas hacían ruído cuando te movías un poco. Aún así, si buscas algo barato en Abu Dhabi y bien situado, es una buena opción. Y además está limpio.
