The rooms are large and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect to walk but if you need a ride, the resort offers a complimentary ride.

The hotel would benefit from more attentive door people

Location is fantastic. Property opened in February and the service is 5 star. Gorgeous updated art deco vibe off the largest and most beautiful park in Savannah.

One of the advantages to staying at the hotel is access to a private bar for hotel guests. When we finished dinner and headed back to the hotel, we were told there was a buyout and it was closed for a private event. The pool was also going to be closed the next day for a wedding. The hotel grounds/gathering places are the reason to stay at the Bardo, so find out what is open when you're planning to go.

The hotel is very well decorated.

I wish I had my towels changed (although have asked for it several times). Also the barman didn’t know how to make a Fitzgerald (well know drink). It is a pricey hotel, service could be better! The cleaning in my room was not that good as well!

You will be in awe of the beauty of this property. Lounging in the pool area, with its Caribbean allure alone is worth the stay. Not to be outdone by the beauty of the hotel is the attentiveness of the Staff. Simply put, they are AMAZING. You will genuinely feel that your satisfaction is their primary goal. Thank you to Jasmine and the entire staff at Hotel Bardo for making this a Valentine’s getaway that my wife and I will NEVER forget 💝!
