Great hotel and bar friendly staff very helpful Only issue I paid the extra for a room with a view but could only see the town hall with a huge sheet covering it and building site but I would definitely stay again just in the standard room and save about £60

We had a lovely time. Perfect location for the Palace Theatre and Canal Street. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruits, juices, and fab coffee machine. We’ll be back soon.

The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are a good size and really well decorated. We did find the music in the restaurant on the top floor really loud though (we were 3 floors down and heard it until it closed), which was strange because we were in the restaurant/bar until about 11pm and there was hardly anyone in it. The tram is also quite loud if you are in a room at the front (facing the city hall) which I appreciate is unavoidable but may not be as bad on the other side of the hotel. Staff were great, especially in the rooftop bar and at check-in and the hotel is in a brilliant location for anywhere you need to be in and around the city centre. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel you could tell it wasnt old.The staff are all so welcoming and friendly which is rare in hotels these days.I came for a special birthday and the card and cocktails was a nice touch.The room was so zen and quiet I loved it.The roof terrace is beautiful for a drink and both times I was in I felt at home almost.The security man on Saturday night is a gentleman very on the ball and deals with guests so nicely.I missed breakfast sadly but Ill most likely come back again from Ireland.

Fabulous room, beautifully done. Very spacious for a standard room. Super comfy bed and pillows. Fab roof top bar and great location. Woukd def stay again!

Excellent for a city break

Lovely new hotel as central to Manchester as it can be overlooking Albert sq. arrived at 3 :45 and room wasn’t ready which was disappointing as needed to change and be out for 4:30. However great service- offered complimentary cocktails in roof bar whilst room was ready. Within 15 mins key brought bar and advised upgrade to club room and bags in room. Great example of overcoming an issue. Thank you Mal M - lovely quirky decorated room- had a slight problem with the lights but reception gave us a ‘fix’ !! V comfortable bed and great black out curtains

Right in the heart of Manchester, close to everything we wanted to see.

Gorgeous hotel, and the rooftop bar is lovely. It’s situated right next to the tram lines, so that isn’t great, as they start running around 5.30am, the location isn’t on Deansgate.

Not up to the usual Malmasion standard

Had a fabulous stay here last night, they made my partners visit very special for their birthday. Really went the extra mile. The vegetarian sausages at breakfast were delightful also. Will be back again

Great hotel in a good location, room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Aircon worked great which was needed

4 of us staying here. None of us had hot water for a shower in the evening. One got hot water after running it for 10 minutes. So wasteful of tiime and resources. Complained to reception but it was manned by a maintenance guy not actual reception staff.

Lovely hotel. Stayed in a Club Deluxe room which was spotless and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Superb location. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend this hotel 100%.

Great stay at this hotel and an excellent breakfast. Room was lovely and comfortable. We could hear the trams and thought that might have us awake early when they started in the morning but it didn’t. Would recommend staying here.

I loved my room - exactly as pictured when I booked - very stylish, clean and well-appointed. We would have had the best view in the house but for the rehab of the Albert Square, but we expected the scaffolding so no big deal. I wish we had a better mini-fridge in the room - simply wasn't big enough to store leftovers and bottled liquids. Also, even on the 5th floor, you can hear the trams at night, but they stopped at a certain point and you tend to get used to the sound. Hotel staff was super about getting us taxi service, and we could easily walk to many types of eateries. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious! Overall thumbs up!

We were very happy with this hotel. Very modern and up to date decor. Public transport at your front door and walking distance to everything you need to do and see.

Trams outside the window were a little noisy

The hotel was absolutely amazing, me and my partner could not have been happier with the hotel, service and the room for a one night stay for our anniversary. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and booked a table for the rooftop bar which again was amazing, very friendly bar staff and very knowledgeable with regards to catering for my partner who is celiac. Overall we were over the moon with our stay and would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

Very aesthetically pleasing, nice and clean. But you can only pay to watch movies on the TV or watch normal channels you cannot use a fire stick so entertainment was limited

Small hotel but great and efficient staff. Room was small but very confy. Bed was super confortable. Decor throughout was really nice. Only downside is that we stayed on second floor and could pick some noises from the street and tram passing by. Loved the glass of champagne when we arrived and were doing the checkin
