Me and my mum had a great stay here. The room was newly renovated, very spacious and clean. Beds were comfy. Free water, tea and coffee provided in the room. The staff were friendly. Good location in relation to the train station and walkable to the town centre. Other floors were in the process of being renovated so there was some noise but not disruptive.

Property is under construction, but they kept it quiet during the evening. Only issue we had was the trolley station in front of the hotel was closed during our stay, but the receptionist helped with directions and where the next trolley station was located. Not too far from the hotel and main train station. Great stay

We quite enjoyed our stay at the Chamade Hotel. We were doing a lot of day trips via rail so we really appreciated the proximity to the train station. The room was ample in size, the mattress firm, and the fan in the room helped diffuse the heat.

The hotel was 3 blocks from the train station. It was not near the center of Ghent. The tram was not easy to navigate.

The food was delicious with lots of variety and everything was freshly made. They even had bacon which is always a bonus for me! There is not a lot of parking in the area but we lucked out and always found a spot. Parking was free but I believe that's only because we were there on a weekend. There is public transportation right in front of the hotel and it is only a 5 minute walk to the Ghent St Pieters train station so it is very accessible. There weren't many restaurant options nearby but that wasn't a big deal for us. It was a great stay and we would recommend it to anyone.

We were offered and accepted an electric fan, and advised to keep the windows open. Not ideal as the street was noisy late at night and early morning.
