I recently had a very disappointing experience. I made a reservation through a third-party website and, in a rush, accidentally booked a smoking room for two nights. Upon arrival, I realized the mistake and approached the front desk to see if it could be corrected. Unfortunately, the customer service was incredibly poor. Gail Patel, who is supposed to be the owner of the place, was completely unhelpful. When I explained the situation and requested a variation of the reservation, he was very closed-minded and dismissive. He offered to charge me an additional $25 per night to switch from the smoking room to a non-smoking room, which I was willing to accept, but he refused to cancel the second day that was booked by mistake. I eventually offered to pay more for one night, but he was unwilling to to do anything. Despite my efforts to come to an arrangement, he remained uncooperative. Ultimately, I decided not to stay due to the lack of customer care. To make matters worse, the lobby was dirty and cluttered with a lot of stuff around, which is not very professional. This is not the kind of service one expects from a hotel. Good customer service and cleanliness are essential, especially in the hospitality industry, and this experience left a very bad impression. I am extremely disappointed.
