We stayed here 1 night upon arrival to GRR. Overal it was a good stay. The bed was good, not great but wasn't terrible. Thr next day the frond desk lady wa svery friendly and asked how our stay was. The only thing is that one of the sude doors to get into the building is jammed, it took many attempts inserting yhe key card for the door to open. Someone actually told us thar eventually it will open. That was 11 pm, we wanted to rest and not to stay outside teying to get in.

The first room I was assigned smelled like urine. However, I have been known to mis-identify odors, so that smell may well have been the through-wall AC unit. AC units will emit a urine-like smell when there is a buildup of mold and bacteria from condensation on the cooling fins (internally). They assigned me another room without question. It smelled fine at first, but once I ran the AC for a bit I began smelling the same odor (though not as strong as in the first room).

I went to check in and they did not have the amenities listed for the room. I said I didn’t want to stay there if that was the case. She told me fine and that she refunded me, but she never did. So I had to pay for hotel room I didn’t even stay in. Customer service was extremely poor, completely unapologetic, and it looked unbelievably rundown and dirty compared to the picture

There were many pets that were being very loud on our floor. Staff helped us retrieve a lost item, and were very welcoming to us.

The room was filthy. The bed skirt was dirty, the bathroom had some sort of black grease, the office chair had numerous stains and was broke, the recliner couldn't recline because of the sticky substance holding it back... Ugh. I would NEVER stay here again. Spend the extra dollars, stay somewhere else!

Wow extremely dirty and stained carpets, the place smelled like a BBQ in the hallways and rooms. No Bueno.

I had a reservation for this property with a late arrival. When i got there at 11p there was a person sleeping in the grass in front of the hotel, 2 others on a bench, and 3 people hanging out in the lobby. Because this put up red flags, i asked to see my room before i signed in. When i entered the room the smell of urine was so strong i almost gagged. The wallpaper on one wall was pulled off in football sized chunks. There was no way i was letting my daughter and grandson stay in this room nor myself with asthma. I was shocked that this property thought this was ok. We left and had to find another hotel at midnight. Look at your rooms before you sign.

The check-in timeframe is misleading. Says until midnight but even with a heads up that I would be late, still before midnight the reservation was erased. Then with a new reservation I was given a room with someone already occupying it. Took over half a hour to check-in. When we finally got the room we had missing blankets, pillows, and a drawer was broken and left on side of dresser.

Staff was friendly but never, ever again ….the combination between the smell, the sticky carpet and the condition of the rooms was enough to check this place off my list, forever. Spend the extra $$ and try somewhere else!
