Two things annoyed us on our trip to Winnipeg. Pool was supposed to be open until 11, at 1045 a worker comes in to start his cleaning duties and shuts the lights off and tells us that the pool is closed. Clearly posted on multiple signs that the pool is open until 11. Checkout is at noon, at 930 we receive a knock on the door from the maids asking if we are leaving soon. Clearly trying to get into rooms ahead of time so they are done early. If you are unable to clean rooms between checkout and check in time, then you need to change your checkout time to 10 or 11. Other than that our stay was fine, hotel is showing its age but comfortable.

Hotel was clean, however rooms were very dated, furniture, carpet, beds. Washroom was newer. Service in restaurant for breakfast was poor at best and food wasn’t the greatest.

I had a brief 2 night stay over a long weekend, and my reason for booking the room kept me away from sampling any of the amenities (pool,restaurant,lounge,etc) other than the room itself. The check-in and out processes went very smoothly and my room was very clean and neat with everything from coffee maker to fridge and free wi-fi. Any staff member I spoke to was courteous and helpful…highly recommend staying there

Very pleasant stay experience, the swimming pool and fitness facilities are complete, the restaurant staff are very enthusiastic, making us feel the warmth of home.

Overall the hotel was good. I was placed on the top floor which was really nice. However, the top floor hasn't undergone renovations yet, unlike some other floors, so the decor was quite dated/old feeling. No big deal, as most of the time there was spent sleeping. There was one issue with the room that did not get resolved while I was there. But front desk staff made it right in the end. Because of this good customer service, I'm going to be staying there again next month, in one of their newly renovated rooms.

We enjoyed the renovations to the lobby. Unfortunately, we didn’t stay in a renovated room.
The room was clean, and we loved the bathroom vanity with storage underneath the sink. The pillows weren’t great, but the bed was comfortable.
Will definitely stay here again, and look forward to a renovated room.
