Last minute booking. My pickup was done early and I did not want to stay in the van. Was able to get a shower and enjoy my fruit before falling asleep!

The hotel staff were so nice and helpful and our room was comfortable and clean. There is free and convenient parking onsite. The breakfast was great. Thank you!

My stay at this Comfort Inn location fell short of expectations. The lobby was impeccably maintained, while the staff we encountered were courteous. However, the room required thorough deep cleaning and renovation. Notably, the carpet and curtains were damaged, the jetted tub was stained, and the furniture was compromised, with a stained chair and loose office chair. Moreover, excessive noise from the adjacent guest room persisted until 3am, disrupting our peace. Given our brief interaction with the facilities, I would not recommend or revisit this location.

The food was good. The location of the hotel was great. Parking was awesome, felt secure. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were so kind and welcoming. In conclusion, don’t let the other reviews scare you away, the smells are tolerable and not bad. It’s not like a resort so don’t expect that but the people are so nice and sweet, and it’s a simple place to rest your head. I would stay again if visiting Detroit and needed a place to stay.

We booked this hotel specifically to stay the night after a Lions game. I was there with my 9 year old son and based on reviews, I figured it wasn't going to be the greatest but still decent. We got into our room and were greeted by the smell of stale smoke. The smoke alarm battery door was open, and the battery was gone so it was chirping away. We got the battery and replaced that so that was fine. In the morning, we went down to check out the breakfast area. There was nothing in the steamers, coffee containers were completely empty and the orange juice and apple juice were spitting out water and not juice. It wasn't even super busy, but regardless we ended up packing up and heading out to eat somewhere else. Overall, it was an ok spot to stay for the night, especially if you're with buddies. I don't know if I'd recommend it for younger kids.

This hotel was convenient for the stay we wanted. Plenty parking and felt safe. The staff is pleasant. Their breakfast is very good that is included with the stay. Other than being a little outdated, it was good overall.

The elevator didn’t work right.

Front desk was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great only thing is the bathroom floor was slippery like they clean with products the cause a film but made kinda dangerous.

Mmm. The heat was on in the stairwell on an 85 degree day. Everyone was friendly. Room was clean and adequate.

The bathroom did not have a shower curtain and the sink was clogged. Happy i only booked one night! Horrible experience.

Room was dirty

It's Downtown Detroit so we all know there a ton of options but this hit the sweet spot between quality & value. Parking on site (Free) is awesome. Then they have a courtesy shuttle that takes you anywhere within 3 miles. (Just tip the guy. Not their rule but my suggestion. Driver was a cool 😎 Dude. Mucho info.) Staff was great and hotel breakfast, if you're into such a thing was, well a hotel breakfast. Hot and plenty of it. Wouldn't kill em to put out some hash browns. Good stay and it's now my Downtown Detroit Headquarters.

Towels were on a molded stand under the sink wood chips shower gel bulb blown out vanity Not the best the air conditioner dusty and build up hair on the extension not the best but safe and surface clean

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Downtown after the Lions Season Opener. Fantastic Stay! Area is quiet, staff was exceptionally professional and courteous. Parking is well lit, coffee is always on in the lobby! The rooms are standard, no frills no fuss. Easy check in, check out with outstanding customer service. Yvette is an absolute asset to this hotel. One Pride! if I need to stay in the area again, this is the place I will go to. If you are looking for an easy to get to place to sleep for the night that is safe and feels like you are their number one customer, ask for Yvette - she made all of us feel welcome and important. Detroit is lucky to have this hidden treasure!

The mattress looked more like a bowl, it was so much lower in the middle. Rough crowds across the street at the club, vagrants in the parking lot, my car was hit one night while I was asleep and very limited parking in general
