We Love it here. Always stay at Fontainebleau before our cruises. They have it all so you don’t need to leave the hotel if you don’t want.

The stay was pleasant and the staff is professional and courteous.A few concerns, bed sheets that are stained should be thrown out and not used.The bigger concern I have is what happened in the beach. For an exclusive hotel, there is no security or support when something unfortunate happens. On November 3, we returned to our beach chairs after ten minutes in the ocean to sun a man seated at our chairs, going through our bag, our cash in his hand and rummaging for more.He sat down at our chairs, and had a hotel towel over his head while rummaging. When we approached him, he was seated on our chairs and surprised.The towel was removed and it revealed the man was wearing a FB hat as if he worked there but did not have a beach navy or white shirt in…just the hat and shirts.His shirt was light green surf shirt.He agreed to open his hands to my husband to reveal some cash while I looked to see if phones or credit cards were missing. I ran over to a beach employee and stated what happened and his response was, that guy doesn’t work here. I protested as the man was quickly walking away and another employee on a beach vehicle drove by and went toward the man who went toward the boardwalk. Next the beach employee, was sent over to us to state that they spoke to the man but he must have thrown the hat in the bushes and he stated he saw a man running.The employee said they took a pic of the man and the manager was calling the police. No follow up or apology or support at a 5star hotel.

Amazing. Such an iconic place. Check in was busy but went quickly and the gal at check in was awesome and got us a room right away even tho we got there around noon and it was the top floor with an amazing view!! It was super busy due to a concert in town but it was still great!

We have stayed at many different hotels over the years in Miami Beach. We travel here at least 4 times a year. Unfortunately, not a place I would recommend in general. The service here is suboptimal. Elevators do not work and at times you have to wait for 30 to 40 minutes for an elevator. We had to set up the pool chairs ourselves as there was nobody to help us out. They check your bags for foods and drink as you enter the pool area as if you’re trying to smuggle stuff into the pool which is a very odd experience for a “high end” hotel overall. Expect to pay about $100 for two Caesar salads of average quality at the pool. The only benefit is if you have children, the suite is quite large. Otherwise, it’s overcrowded and more like a below average 3 star hotel in terms of service.

I've loved Fontainebleau for over a decade. Sadly, it seems like they have haven't updated the property since a decade ago (first room's ceiling was leaking, towels are stained and have holes in them, etc.) -- and they want to charge extra for everything. (like $100 for a refrigerator in room!)

Beautiful and iconic property. Very friendly staff. Only negative thing was the elevators. They took forever and not sure why there are no service elevators for the staff. They were using guest elevators which only delayed the process. When you are on the 31st floor it took awhile.

Great place to have fun. Food was above avg, service far below avg. if it’s a party it’s there but high end service it lacks our room was dirty no soap and old coffee cups left behind.

I looked at three rooms before I stayed in my final room. Two of the rooms had a horrible scent, and one of them had an unmentionable on a bathroom, toilet seat, a used Q-tip behind a door, and an old razor package sticking out from under the bed. The hotel definitely needs a facelift and better cleaning

Wonderful Beach Access! Great ocean views, comfortable beds. Spa was lovely, amount of pools available was spectacular. Grounds were absolutely beautiful! Close enough to all the tourist spots, Lyft/Uber convenient. The staff attention could be improved: My only complaint or feedback would be to have assistance for even those that check in to hotel after hours. Our flight was delayed and we arrived around midnight. The hotel is far too big to have people wandering around trying to find the different towers after traveling all day. We were also not offered any assistance with our luggage to our room. Only area of improvement. I was traveling w my elderly mother and this definitely put a damper on our stay.

It was disappointing to treat myself and pay for the better stay then to have old floss in The shower, dirty water glasses, an old earring on the bathroom counter…next to short hairs. It’s obvious the staff wiped around the items and it’s not cleaned. Truly cleaned. I hope the hair on the sheets was because it’s hard to get them off, not a lack of change. Broken pen on the nightstand. Serials is what set a service apart. I’m disappointed.

Its a nice hotel with great amenities. I was surprised that someone would take my sunscreen, but the staff hooked me up so I wouldn't need to leave the pool to go buy some more. Can't blame the hotel for other guests, but I can compement the hotel's staff for being helpful. The pool staff in general were very good.
