This property has definitely seen better days. We Booked a “deluxe room.” I’m still not sure why it would be considered deluxe. The best thing about the hotel is its location in the center of the Copacabana strip. The second best thing about the hotel is the nice people who work there. The room was clean. But very worn.The linens were very tired and need to be replaced. The white towels were gray. The reviews for breakfast were outstanding, which frankly, we couldn’t figure out why. It was slightly better than average, but it was not anything special. The coffee was hot and tasty. Would I stay here again? No.

Amazing location, excellent breakfast, comfortabme room. Unfortunately water on the shower was cold 2 out of 3 nights. One day staff left us with no towels at all and when asking not only it took a while to receive towels but they were stained rags. Unaceptable on such hotel.

Love the place, friendly people! Great restaurants around, I loved the chairs and umbrellas on the beach was free and you could order drinks and food from there! We went to the Maracana and the hotel set up everything, enjoyed every minute!

Great hotel in a pretty and safe neighborhood.

Good location in the middle of Copacabana. However it is not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are dated, my room had a window looking out into what was an internal opening between buildings which let no daylight in. The entrance door was positioned directly on front of the bed!!!! If the door was opened by staff and the guest was in bed then everyone down the entire corrdor could see them in bed. This is a major fault in room design, the bed should be moved to the othe side of the room and the wardrobe to the other side instead. The A/C was good but the fridge in the room was very noisy resulting in a terrible nights sleep. If you try to unplug the fridge to stop the constant noise the result is a flood of water all over the floor. The electricity socket is a 2pin which doesn't accept euro or 3pin adaptors. There are no chargers available at reception, even for emergencies where battery output is low. Not good enough really at a supposed 4star. The rooftop pool is tiny, only a plunge pool as it doesn't accommodate many people at one time, after 4 people its uncomfortable to be in. For some strange reason the WC in the lobby has a light sensor which turns off after approx 10seconds which means you are left in complete darkness and have to wave your arms around to activate the motion sensor so you dont walk into the wall or doors. Could it not be reset at 60seconds perhaps?? Breakfast is very good with a wide selection of hot and cold options, well done in this aspect. Disappointed overall

Sweet spot in the middle of the action in Copacabana.. hard to beat for the price and location. We will probably stay in the same place when we come back … needs a bit updating that’s all.. otherwise it’s awesome
