It was ok. Hallways smelled of marijuana. Went to a concert at Intuit Dome. 15 min Uber ride away.

This was my first time, I normally stay at TownPlace not to far away. When their pricing got out of hand I shopped around and found the Candlewood. It is more dated but very clean and the staff at the front desk were excellent. I stayed in room 305, the couple of things that would complain about are, the shower head could be install about a foot higher, the AC unit will not go off continuous running, and the microwave takes up all the counter space. These are not the end of the world as I have booked again next week.

It is very noisy. The AC keeps turning off and on even though we didn’t put it in an auto. Very hot all night and people keep shouting outside.

We stayed at Candlewood Suites LAX Hawthorne for 4 nights. We were quite impressed by this place. Dispite the bad reputation of several neighbouring districts, this hotel and the Hawthorne district actually felt like a quite safe and comfortable place to stay. The cleaning was excellent. The airconditioning in our room was a bit noisy. Our hotel room was provided with microwave oven, refrigerator and a mini-kitchen with basic cooking utensils. We made really good use of this, and prepared multiple dinners in our room. However, the room was sized for 4 residents, but only had 1 suitable seat to eat the food. Thus, if more than 1 person were to eat at the same time, then the others had to sit in their beds and eat. Regrettably, for these reasons we don’t rate this place top score for comfort. Despite this, we would still recommend staying at this hotel if you are staying in the area for a few days. The staff members were very nice, polite and friendly. We felt very welcome.

Close proximity to the stadium period the staff was absolutely amazing. We had great food at Chuy’s Mariscos. We would definitely definitely stay again.

Room is incredibly clean and people are very friendly!

Not sure who is giving this a 8 out of 10 star rating but this place is dirty i would never stay here again. And they charge $11.20 a night for for parking
