I stayed in room 1027 which is right next to the linen room where the cleaners are constantly coming and going countless times each morning and each time let the door slam it was incredibly frustrating. I brought it up with the cleaners and they apologised and put a towel in the door to stop it slamming but is there no common sense anymore? Why would I need to ask you to not slam the door it’s obvious people would be trying to sleep in a hotel. Incredibly disrespectful to all the guests to be so noisy as housekeeping. I understand they have a job to do but we are paying money for this experience.

We stayed for 2 nights. We were in Melbourne for a concert at Marvel Stadium. 5 minute walk. Perfect location for a city stay. Easy walking distance to South Wharf and Public Transport. Ticket a number of boxes for us. Will stay again.

Check in was terrible one of the two ladies at the front desk repeatedly kept stopping to check people in when the line was over 10 people deep to serve snacks , when we finally did get to the front desk she kept repeating herself , also didn’t register our room key properly so when we finally did get up to our room the key didn’t work so we had to go back down and go through it all again

Love this Hotel, good rooms with comfortable beds and all facilities that you require. Also big plus being so close to Southern Cross Station. Had problems with the toilet but that can be easily fixed . Only slight problem that I have had is that the reception staff need lessons on how to smile and be a bit more friendlier.

Location was ok but a bit pricey for this Hotels age beds very stiff some noise from hallway doors and people and car on roads outside but not too bad overall stay was reasonable but unless it was cheaper then wouldn't stay again most likely staff were nice
