The location and easy check in were fantastic. Unfortunately that is where the positive part ended for my wife and I. There were dark mold spots all over the shower curtain which really made me question the cleanliness in general. We started to feel very congested and had headaches which I also wonder if it was related. The bed was also very lumpy and uncomfortable.

The hotel is modern and very clean.
Self check-in/out worked wonderfully.
Luggage can be stored (also on your own) before regular check-in. Unfortunately, this was not possible for us as the designated room was occupied. You can ask for help via chat on an iPad. We got a quick answer. However, we had to wait almost 30 minutes until someone came to take our luggage. This is probably an exception and the staff was very friendly.

Every sightseeing place is just 15-20 minutes walk away and the Omicho Market, which has great fresh sea food options is just about 5-10 minutes away. Overall, great stay!

We loved the easy access to the hotel and use of the large amenities room to relax before check-in or after check-out. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it's in a good location, walking distance from most areas. It was super clean, roomy and had nice furnishings. I also recommend visiting the tourist office down the street. We got great advice on local activities and excursions.

check in was a real pain the online process did not work properly and the lady did not help us when I asked if she could do it.
have to pay for a toothbrush and pyjamas rental, towels not changed every day and was a pain to change.
Also only 1 pillow provided with each bed. When requested another they do not provide.

Great location and hotel. We had adjoining rooms for our family which were very spacious. While there was a washing machine in the room, you have to go to the laundry room for ironing. Great location for Kenrokuen Gardens and Kanazawa Castle Gardens.

Liked the apartment style room, worth the little extra just to stretch a little after the cramped rooms in other areas of Japan.
Worth what we paid, and Kanazawa is a lovely area, could have done with at least an extra day to explore further.
If returning to Janazawa I would book again.

Favorite hotel of our trip to Japan, wished we stayed longer!
Loved the space, the kitchenette, the tatami room, and the spa bath! Kids loved having their separate space in the tatami room and slept well on the futons.
Bus stop right outside and property is also an easy walk to a lot of key places.

Despite the overall pleasant atmosphere and the availability of a water fountain in the lobby, the room lacks a window view, robes, coffee or tea amenities, daily cleaning or towel replacement, resulting in accumulated garbage. Additionally, there's a potentially hazardous corner on the bed, and limited channel options, with only Japanese channels available.
