I highly recommend this hotel! Checking in and out was easy. The staff was very friendly! My suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I was traveling alone, but the suite would have been great for a family. My family of 5 used to travel a lot; I wish every hotel room we'd ever stayed in had been this good! The king bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of furniture, yet enough space for additional items (such as a portable crib or playpen). The kitchen was nice. I was able to purchase food for my 3-day stay, instead of having to eat out. I did hear trains go by several times during the day, but I didn't hear them at night. I'm not sure if that was because they didn't run at night, or I couldn't hear them because I use white noise when I sleep. If I am ever in Petersburg again, I will not hesitate to book Stay-Over Suites.

The property is just off the highway enough to be quiet but not so far as to be remote. Nice Italian restaurant a short drive away. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Standard hot breakfast fare but again clean and well presented.

There was an issue with the first room. The freezer needed defrosting and was incredibly loud. We were moved quickly. Second room was nice but was missing a second roll of toilet paper and only one remote for 2 TVs. Breakfast continues to be good and contains both hot and cold options. It is served from 4-10 a.m. to accommodate service people from local military training base. We've stayed here 4 or 5 times and will continue to do so. Plenty of dining options.

My friends and I needed rooms to attend our college homecoming events and had to find rooms at the very last minute. There was one suite available and we took a leap of faith based on the reviews and photos.
We will definitely be back and have recommended this to everyone we know. The suite was clean, spacious and well designed. When we checked in we were told that breakfast was included. I thought it would be the standard like pastries, bagels etc. No, the breakfast was real food and although we had to check out early for our event ...I thought about the sausage and gravy biscuits all day.

This is a truly great deal for the price. For less than we would have paid for a regular hotel room, we had an apartment! The rooms were simply decorated, clean, and functional. The staff was very nice. We appreciated the fact that they show special regard to our military. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything is perfect, breakfast, staff and everything was very good. The cleanliness of the rooms was perfect. We stayed for 2 nights and it felt like home. Thank you Stay Over Suite team

Clean, comfortable room with small kitchen and sitting area separate from sleeping area. Kitchen has basic utensils, dinnerware, pans, etc for cooking. Plenty of shelf and closet space if needed for extended stay.

This was a spacious property with a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and accessible for the disabled. A good place if traveling with a family!

I’m not sure how this property has the rating it has. It was ok at best, very basic. No extra bedding and very sparse bedding on the bed. Room definitely looked like it had seen better days. Breakfast was very minimal and disappointing.
