The main issues faced during our stay were in the bathroom. We stayed 2 nights and both nights we found 'roaches in the bathroom. In addition, the bathtub available (and one of the reasons for getting that room) was disgustingly maintained. The shower was terrible and lots, lots of mold.
The location and breakfast were fine and the staff friendly, however it was very expensive for the real value.

The location, staff, food and cleanliness of this hotel was excellent. The proximity to Paraty historic center was initially the reason we picked this hotel, however the very good food and helpful/friendly staff will make us come back.

This is a 2 star hotel at best so set your expectations and you’ll be fine. Rooms are basic but clean. Parking on site and secure. We had one night with no running water and another with no power (so no AC or lights) which made it uncomfortable overall. Breakfast is basic and difficult to find seating after 9am. No English spoken at the hotel so have google translate ready :-) Internet speed was excellent

Great place. Needs a bit of renovation, but still very convenient location and helpful staff. Parking was needed in this area and they provided it.
