The room was worn and dirty. The walls in the bathroom and obvious bodily fluids on them. The bedsheets were dirty and the room door needed to be pushed to close.

Very pleasant hotel, near the train station, so it's very convenient if arriving by Eurostar etc into Amsterdam. (Or Schiphol airport). Great views of the city, which just a short walk away (Leiden is quite compact). Good breakfast (if a little pricey). You can leave luggage too, and we could check in early. Not a "destination" hotel perhaps but very pleasant and everything you need as a base for exploring and enjoying this lovely city and the surrounding area.

They didn't clean the floor of the room during one week, so we had to ask the stuff to clean it.
Sometimes the cleaning starts at 10:00 a.m., but sometimes late at 3:00, p,m.
The stuff at the reception were quite helpful and responsive, solving all the problems. Great!

The staff at reception were wonderful at check in and check out and also when required between. Property was clean and quiet and close to station for those travelling beyond Leiden

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It was clean and very conveniently located to the train station. There are no frills at this hotel but the staff is friendly, the room dark and quiet, and it was very clean. Would highly recommend!

Wonderfully accomodating staff and policy; arrived early after overnight flight, and was graciously given room upon my arrival; no wait for check in time. Closest hotel to Leiden Centrale, so EVERYTHING is in reach!
