Don’t book unless you’re looking for a quiet place, don’t upgrade to preferred because there’s no such thing as preferred. Definitely not worth it. They charge so much for something you don’t get to enjoy.

Secrets Tides was amazing. It was our 4th Secrets property and they never disappoint. Amazing tranquility and customer service. The staff made our stay amazing especially Christie & Vasquez at the rendezvous lobby bar, Edward, Alberly & Sandy at the sugar reef swim up pool bar. Enrique made everything seamless for out check in & out, while concierge always followed up and checked in with us every other day during our stay. Also special shoutout to Adrian From VIP services for being very understanding during our sit down & also To Amstar for helping us book an amazing excursion to Saona Island. I could go on forever but Secrets is where I will always find myself on future vacations. Top Tier.

I have been to many Secrets properties, mainly in Mexico, and was once a big advocate for the brand. However, this is my review of this particular property: The property itself is nice and new, but we had several issues during our stay: - Food Poisoning (Salmonela): On our first night, we got food poisoning and had to visit the on-site doctor at 4 AM because it was unbearable. This cost us over $350 USD. As a result, we couldn't enjoy our honeymoon. My wife was still sick two weeks after our return. - Inconsistent Food Quality:The food was very inconsistent across all restaurants. It ranged from good to terrible and even dangerous for our health (Salmonela). I had to return several dishes because they were either not good, not cooked, or looked old. The chefs and servers seemed indifferent and often had an attitude. - Staff Attitude:While some staff members were good, the majority seemed unhappy and were often heard complaining to each other (I speak Spanish and could understand their conversations). They appeared bothered by their work. - Mosquito Bites:During our romantic beach dinner, which cost an extra $250, I was bitten by mosquitoes and developed large rashes all over my face. Upon returning to the US, I had to visit urgent care. This is my honest review.

Everyone works so hard to make sure the guests are enjoying their time. Some of the staff that made our vacation are: Alberto - Main Lobby bartender Vasquez - Main Lobby Bartender Suneika- Pool (manatee) the sweetest employee BonBom - Entertainment she made it easy to want to show up to all the activities Frank - Server Market Cafe Confesor - Server Market Cafe Denise - Showtime bar (Best spicy margarita ever) With the resort being new there’s some things still missing that will truly bring it to your typical 5 star resort. The over the top entertainment, pool side champagne popsicles, and crepe cart. I’m sure they will slowly but surely add all the things that make the secret resorts so amazing! Just have to be patient.

This is a beautiful high end resort, this kind of thing should not be happening. Dont waste your time while on vacation. The free massages we received, however, were incredible. Beach is beautiful pools are beautiful food is delicious. Highly recommend the resort.

Everything is good and staff was excellent, but they need more training even manager. Because if they don't have anything in restaurant, they should let the customer knows, but they take order and never bring it we wait 30min. and asked them to don't you have it? they are laughing at me and NO, it wasn't fun. I went to Dominican many times only this resort didn't have Mamajuana, staff didn't explain why, we bought from their store for Mamajuana. Except this all was good.

The staff was incredibly attentive and excellent in every way however, the food was mediocre for a five star resort. The stakes were super thin not very quality type grill the food stay on the grill for about 20 minutes and it should be about 5 to 7 minutes . So that Knight food was surd so really overcooked and dry the people were fabulous the food was medium. One of the bright spots was the market place restaurant for the morning breakfast. It was actually incredible. The grill down by the ocean or just medium overall a very nice resort needs to really get serious about great food. All inclusive 5 star resort . The property is immaculate and definitely worth the stay

My time at Secrets Tides Punta Cana was wonderful. The fairly new resort is super clean and beautiful. The staff is wonderful. This resort isn’t necessarily a party resort but can be a great time with a fun group or other fun guest

From room service to the restaurants on the resort, absolutely delicious food & premium drinks! We enjoyed beach volleyball, massages on the beach, the swim up bars( Felix & Alfredo was the absolute best bartenders ever)..etc! The entire staff was nice & welcoming during our stay. This is your sign to book. You will not regret it!

Overall our stay was good. Save the money on the preferred club, its not worth it. Our butler was only available 1 time a day (maybe we just had bad luck and got a lazy butler). Staff in the hotel was lazy and did not know much what they were doing, specially at the restaurants.

Property is new which is great. Quite isolated from other resorts which may be a concern for some guests, but suited me quite well. Staff are very friendly and attentive
