Good nights sleep, room higher up and and at the back from previous stay. Staff always pleasant and helpful. Excellent location, especially for the bus station.

The rooms are so tiny you have to go outside to change your mind. They have a bed and a bathroom and hardly any room to store your bag. No closet, no chair.

The REZz is a budget hotel located close to the River Lee in the Victorian Quarter, a nice neighborhood full of pubs and restaurants. The hotel is very close to the train and bus stations and within walking distance to all the attractions. There are stations where you can leave your food items in the fridge, make a cup of coffee or tea (provided), and wash and dry your clothes for free. The hotel also features a bar. My only complaint about this hotel is that I paid for the larger room, the "Just right" room but was given a smaller one, the "Tight fit. "I realized it almost at the end of my stay, when the cleaning person was preparing the empty rooms for next customers. The doors to several rooms were open so I had the chance to take a look. It was obvious that I didn't get the "Just right" room but the "tight fit." My room was identical to the tight fit ones and didn't feature the city views advertised. I talked to the manager and asked for a refund, but she only offered to place me in a different room. However, that was my last day at the hotel, and it made no sense after 4 nights there. The manager insisted that I was given the right size room, but I told her that I explored the empty rooms on my floor, and it was obvious that mine was identical to the intermediate-sized room. So, then I asked her to show me the "tight fit" room for me to verify and she blushed and said that she was not authorized to show me a room. That situation really annoyed me

You get what you pay for. This is more like a good Hostel than a Hotel. Was expecting a small room and no facilities - which is what there is. Marked down though because walls needed paint on them - cosmetic improvements would be needed to even consider again.

I liked the concept of this hotel. Small funky rooms to get the most out of the floor space and get as many rooms as you can into the building. I have stayed in similar concept rooms before.
This however didnt quite cut it. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable and had 3 lousy nights sleep. This was made worse by the fact that due the the room's industrial style feel, you were in a concrete box and was very hot and there were no fans in the room and it was only 20 degrees outside.
Nice idea, needs some work to improve it

I stayed in the Rezz Cork for one night. I stayed in the teeny tiny room …. I had ample space . The bed was extremely comfortable , and bed linen spotless .
They also provide toiletries.
Could not fault this hotel and the price is fantastic….

modern hotel, close to restaurants and city center.
bed was uncomfortable since trapped between walls!

Perfectly adequate and affordable. Mattress was not the comfiest but no biggie

It is a budget hotel and well worth the money. It is a basic space with a budget hotel mattress (as in it dips one one side). It is conveniently located and has food options near by. It also has free washer and dryer, just provide your own soap

Great location.

We booked the Teeny Tiny Room for 2 nights! I personally thought it was great. Our only issue was a missing shower door bottom seal that let water leak onto the floor of the restroom. Also, choose a room away from the alley for a quieter stay.

The location is very convenient. There is paid parking at Patrick Quay across the road.
In general, the operation and layout of the room is not well thought out. The staff are not there after 10pm. There is also no contact information or phone available if you needed to reach someone! Fortunately, when our hotel card stopped working one night, it was just before 10pm when we got back to the hotel. When we checked out 7:30am, no one was available to take our hotel cards back and there was no dropbox. We had to wait around in the lobby until a staff was servicing the hallways. Also our card again stopped working that morning and we could not go back up to our room.
The small room could be improved by strategically having more hooks, ledges and shelf space. The bathroom was clean but the carpet in the room appeared dirty, the mattresss was uneven and lumpy. It was hard to have a comfortable sleep, woke up with a backache both mornings.

The overhead light was so dim I could not read. One of the two reading lights on the bed was broken and dangling by its wires. We were 2 in the bed and for the “inside person” to get out of bed they had to crawl over the other person. No closet — or any other place to hang clothes. Not even a cup at the bathroom sink. 1 tiny chair — that we had to use as an end table because there weren’t any. I could go on, but you get the picture. Poorly designed and poorly maintained.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was the single worst bed I ever 'tried' sleeping in. The mattress appeared to be very old . . . could feel every spring and there seemed to be a giant divot in the middle. I could have (should have) said something during my stay but I didn't. Again, everyone was very friendly . . . but the beds are terrible.

Was a great way to spend the night in Cork

Convenient location to train and main bus station, clean and comfortable room with budget options. No, early breakfast (prior to 8am). Minutes walk to city centre and shopping and sites.

Person at check in literally said two words to me. Went downhill since last stayed when it first open.

Have the owners tried sleeping on their mattresses? This is a teeny tiny room (as described), with a mattress wedged into a space between the window and a wall next to the bathroom. No chair or stool in the room, so if you want to sit you need to sit on the part of the mattress by a pillow. With a couple of years of customers having to sit this way the mattress is shot. Springs poking in all the wrong places making it difficult to sleep. They needed to have sourced a more suitable and sturdy mattress for the physical set-up. And don't think the room will be suitable for 2 people -- it is not. Might be OK for a solo traveller (who will fit into the teeny tiny shower and can cope with an uncomfortable bed) looking for a no-frills budget room for a night, but not nice for a couple.

Rezz is comparable to an upscale hostel. We opted for a small room to save money but felt there still could have been some convenient storage in the room, a hairdryer in the room etc. the shower is so small you can barely turn around. The room was clean on arrival but the common areas’ carpet was very dirty and you can tell they use air freshener to mask the smell. They oversold the hotel bar…. Rarely anyone there , they don’t take cash and didn’t have half the drinks in the menu available
10.0 / 10.0
Although the rooms are small (we got the “just right” room), The Rezz offered exactly what we needed for one night’s rest in Cork. We were allowed to drop our bags early to catch a quick bus to Blarney Castle. The room was clean and there was a communal area with coffee tea, a small fridge and even a blowdryer. The room would be a little tight with two large suitcases, but overall it was the perfect spot for us.

Property was affordable and in an area making parking and visiting really easy, shower drain was blocked when we got there and needed cleaning

Dirty room, greasy surfaces and stained sheets. Didn’t look like it had been properly cleaned. Very noisy
2.0 / 10.0
Room had no ventilation and was super warm. Window could only be cracked and did not help with the temperature.
It was very loud even with earplugs.
Materass was of poor quality and was used up. Lightbulbs in room were missing.
I would not stay here again.

We should have done more homework in selecting this hotel. We arrived for a 2 night stay in Cork. Parking was terrible. We checked into our two rooms and decided we could not stay. The rooms were dark and dirty. We left and did get our second night’s stay refunded. We decided not to explore Cork and drove to Killarney instead.

Whilst the rooms are compact they are perfectly comfortable, clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for shopping or going out in the city.

Unfriendly check-in, door handle was broken in bathroom, wifi didn’t work, very hot rooms and extremely thin walls so I heard everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) my neighbours got up to till 5am. Key card also stopped working after day 1. I’ve also never had to make my own bed at a hotel but I did here…

I am 75 years old; a solo female traveler. I tell it like it is to save others a hard time. I have nothing bad to say about ReZz. For bus or train travelers it's a great location. for paddywagon tours it's a great location. Friday night it was noisy but quiet by midnight. A small price to pay. As stated it is tiny- don't try putting two in one room. But it is so well thought out there is a light under the bed where your suitcase goes. Can't beat that.
