The best hotel I ever stayed! I like the design of the hotel, simple and modern! Every detail shows its innovation, care for its customers! The most impressed me is the sense light in the toilet that when you open the door, the light is there for you not too bright but right for you! When I first entered the hotel, I felt very welcomed! Staff Faigen welcomed me warmly and kindly parked our car and brought our luggages to our room. The next day staff Sam and Kathryn welcomed me warmly as well! And Sam personally showed me how to get to Lake Tekapo which saved me! Food is delicious and staff is wonderful and make me feel at home and feel like a family! I couldn’t recommend more enough! I will recommend to each one who need a hotel in Christchurch—-choose Sudima Christchurch City Hotel and you will feel like a home! Wonderful and feel loved! 😍👍❤️🙏

The Sudima was such a great place to stay the staff at reception were very friendly and super helpful. The rooms were spacious and fitted out with everything you would need. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Christchurch.

The room was very comfortable and homey, with many thoughtful touches, from the umbrella and yoga mat in the closet to the guest laundry. It was about a 10-15-minute walk from a lot of downtown cultural sites, and there were some nice restaurants nearby, including the hotel restaurant. Both the breakfast buffet and room service were delicious, but there was also a useful kitchenette in the room. In addition, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I don't know if my travels will bring me back to Christchurch in the future, but if so I will definitely stay here again. It was my favorite hotel from my trip.

Great service. Walkable to town. I wouldn’t do the breakfast again, it is really expensive and mediocre at best. Parking is expensive too at $30/night.
