Relax with family and friends in our beautifully refurbished Georgian townhouse making your holiday in Charmouth, Dorset luxurious and memorable. Just a short walk to the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic coast and beach. The house has three luxury bedrooms with far reaching views of sea and country. Enjoy the spacious living and dining areas and a stylish modern kitchen. Foxley Green is situated on the South West Coast path, making it an ideal overnight place to rest and recharge.
Foxley Green is a beautiful Georgian town house in the heart of Charmouth, West Dorset. This 200 year old house has recently been completely refurbished and professionally styled. Each room has its own individual look and character. Attention to detail has been paramount.
The kitchen is well equipped for those that enjoy cooking while on holiday, with a generous 5 ring gas hob and electric oven, plus a home from home essential for many, a Nespresso coffee machine.
The large sliding patio doors provide easy access to the courtyard, perfect for al-fresco dining.
The Dining Room has long table suitable for 6 to 8 diners. The large wood burning stove keeps the space extremely cosy in the winter months. (A basket of kindling & wood is provide free from October to March). The downstairs cloakroom leads off from the dining room. The Living Room features a large modern internet TV, with ample seating for six guests.
The first floor comprises of two double bedrooms, one King and one Queen, plus the main family bathroom. The Principal bedroom with ensuite shower is accessed via a narrow staircase to the top floor. The room features a King size bed, and has stunning views across Marshwood Vale and at the rear panoramic views of Lyme Bay. All bedrooms have modern internet TVs. All beds have feather and down duvets and pillows, with Egyptian cotton bedlinen. Each room has an extra blanket.
The Boot Room & Utility is accessed via the Courtyard. It houses a washer dryer, large sink and lots of hanging space for wetsuits, beach towels, and wet walking gear!
Boot rack provided. Plus a hose spray for washing muddy paws and sanding toes.
The private courtyard is a perfect for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail or two. For hosting a larger group, the extensive decked dining area, in the adjacent private garden, is ideal for a leisurely lunch or tranquil evening for all the family. The garden stretches towards to the sea. Ideal for children's games and the young at heart.
Foxley Green has private parking for one vehicle.
The house is only 2 minutes walk to one of the village pubs, The Royal Oak. The second, The George, is at the bottom of the village. Charmouth Stores is a well stocked convenience /grocery store open 7 days a week, situated in the heart of the village. The village bakery on Barr's Lane has daily fresh bread, cakes & pastries. The Charmouth Fish Bar offers traditional English fish and chips, plus a great pizza menu.
Foxley Green has private parking for one vehicle. Plenty of free and safe street parking is usually available in the village.
The main bus route for the Jurassic Coast stop a 100m from Foxley Green. This reliable bus service connects the bustling market town of Bridport and the famous seaside resort of Lyme Regis.
