The spacious apartment met all our needs, had lots of natural light and the grounds were immaculate. Our host was very kind and thoughtful. Our two night stay was convenient for visiting nearby villages for family history and access to Exeter. We enjoyed being able to prepare our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. We also liked having the food co-op only a little over a mile away.

WE self catered and used the nearby Co-op for our provisions. A bit expensive, but a good selection. The flat was bigger than we expected, which was nice. Easy parking, much appreciated. Lovely grounds.

This is a lovely, nicely decorated, light-filled apartment on top of the double garage attached to the house, ideally suited for a couple. I felt the photos provided were a good representation. It felt very relaxing. Everything we needed was available and some niceties provided to help us feel welcome. The apartment looks out over the gardens which are well maintained and have some nice flower beds. Our hostess arranged to meet us at the time we gave for arrival and took us round the apartment. While we were staying it was easy to make contact. We liked the country location which was ideal for a local wedding. There are lots of little lanes but fairly close to a supermarket etc.

Not much. Our car's sat nav had difficulty finding the cottage. Google maps was better.

We had a comfy 4-night stay at Crannaford cottage. It has its own entrance, spacious, clean, fully equipped with everything you may need and quiet. The owner is nearby if you need anything.

Amazing place, very well thought out design, very beautiful place. If I didn't live so far away I would stay there a lot. Ideal for getting away from the city noise and relaxing.

Driving at night on the country lanes.

What a beautiful place to stay. The owners Tina & Robert are a lovely most welcoming couple who cant do enough to make your stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond being helpful. All i can say is the photos dont do justice for this place it is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything you need is in the cottage even table and chairs to sit out in the garden which are beautifully maintained. I cannot fault this property or their owners in anyway and would most highly recommend this place definitely 10/10 and the bed was so comfortable as well. Would have no hesitation in staying here again. Thank you Tina and Robert for a lovely stay and for your kindness much appreciated.

Wasn't a thing to not like

Photos on booking.com do not do this fabulous accommodation justice! The flat is really spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is available. The location is quiet, and within easy reach of local towns, villages and beaches.

Nothing - it was great!

Very friendly greeting as we arrived, I loved the trees and peaceful. The accommodation was light, spacious and very clean, lovely decor etc.You had washing machine facilities, could enjoy the nature and National trust woodland, walks near to shops and will definitely explore that area again. Lovely treats, biscuits, two bottles of wine and yummy fudge 😁

A larger cafeteria, I was glad I brought my own.Towels could of been better and didn’t use the soap and shower gel as I didn’t know what brand it was I have sensitive skin so used my own.

beautiful grounds, plenty parking and wonderful space to relax in. it was equipped with everything you could need and more and the owners were happy to help with anything I could have needed more. it was super clean and fresh and just a lovely stay all round.

Looked very nice but not our normal place to stay.

Strange loud banging around 10pm which woke us and was quite scary as it is so dark around the house. Made us feel a bit uncomfortable

We couldn't work the coffee machine or the hob. I thought I had got the hang of these pods using them in different places before. Could some guidance be left. I wanted to boil some eggs for breakfast - did scrambled in the microwave.

Fantastic airy and bright living room, windows on 3 sides all with country views. Beautifully decor throughout. A good blend of the old and modern to have character and yet be practical and comfortable. Peaceful and relaxing

I loved the location. Nice and quiet. Very comfortable with a home from home feeling. Everything you need for a nice little break.

Being really really picky the only things would be the poor internet bandwidth and the creaky floor.

It was so clean and wide and nice. The host was very kind and the coffee, eggs, butter, milk, and muesli prepared for breakfast were the best. I really want to go again.
