It was nice being beachfront

The room was dirty, no soap left for dishes missing blankets, dirty blankets left on couch. The front desk security at night was very rude

I liked how close to the beach it was! It was also close to a few restaurants and the room was spacious. Also affordable so that was nice! However we did not have shampoo or conditioner in the room, so make sure to pack some.

Great spot on the beach, older style building with minimal amenities as expected. Very nice pool and view.

The room that we reserved and paid for was not the room that we received. I am familiar with the property and the description provided by Expedia did not match the room we were given. Do not book a stay at this resort through Expedia

Excelent access to beach.
Flagers Ave is great place to shop walk and dine nearby as well as downtown New Smyrna across bridge. Do need car but all resorts here require that

I will definitely plan my next stay at the islander. It was above my expectations. Staff very friendly and courteous.
