Very friendly and helpful owner, comfortable room with a sitting area in front as well as a large veranda outside. Very good breakfast, excellent advice on local walks and bus connections. Also an excellent restaurant just across the road which I would also highly recommend. Beer available to buy as well as coffee and tea. A bit of a walk to the centre of Ella and the station, but closer to Little Adam's Peak and other walks, and very peaceful.

It has good location and good price, but hoste took a 10$ more from us than the booking price was sateld because we wanted adjoining rooms.

It was cold. The hoste gave us extra blankets second day. In the night time the Wi Fi was swiched off.

The place is calm and beautiful, and the roons really confy. The host is also super nice and helpful. Loved it!

short walk to centre of town, close to start of little Adam’s peak and bridge. has a very helpful map to help with things to do in local area and helpful tips. very helpful host helping us with getting onward travel to Marissa/Galle and even dropping us at the bus station. clean accommodation with good hot water.

The best place to stay in Ella. The owner is very kind, good english speaker, helpfull with everything (trips, van to Arugam Bay, tips about restaurants...). And he has his own tuk tuk. Accomodation is clean, quiet, very big rooms, nice terrace for have a rest. 5mins to go to the center. On the way for trip to Little Adams peak.

Everything, me & my partner have been travelling for 4 months now around south east Asia and this was by far the most comfortable and welcoming we have felt, the owner is so nice and it was a lovely stay due to how nice he was nothing was ever trouble, he wouldn’t do enough for you! lovely stay lovely owner I’m gutted we aren’t staying here longer! Accommodation in Ella was amazing. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The owner was always willing to advise and help us. We recommend this accommodation to any traveler who plans to visit this beautiful mountain town. We are here for the second time and we will always be happy to return. The advantage is also the location, only 5 minutes walk to the center 😍

Accommodation 5 minutes walk from the center. silent place. good and helpful owner. the room was cold (ideal for sleeping). The internet works if the neighbor does not consume it (as almost everywhere, they only have 5-20gb packages) breakfast is served locally, one egg, toast every day, some butter with jam and SriLankan dishes (rotti, rice, pancakes) alternated

only one socket to charge the electronics in the room and also at head height.

The host was so kind and helpful to us. He sorted a scooter for us for a good price and also dropped us to our next accommodation in his tuk tuk free of charge. The breakfast was big and filling. All in all, great value for the money. The water in the shower was nice and hot.

The room didn’t have much light so it did feel quite dark all the time.

The staff and manager were friendly and very helpful. The manager gave us a lift with his tuktuk. The breakfast was really good and fresh. The location was ok, close to the main market street and railway station.

The room was a bit small, but ok for short stays and in this price. The mosquito net was not the best one.

Cosy guest Inn located in a beautiful and quiet area of Ella, very close to the center, cafes and shops and to the main hiking trails, but still distant from all noise of the city. Little Adam's peak trail start is in a walking distance from the hotel. Guest Inn run by a very nice and welcoming family, they prepared delicious breakfast for us every morning (fruits, pancakes, toasts, noodles and curry, tea, coffee). Rooms are clean and each has a terrace with a table and chairs to relax and to have meals.

We enjoyed all, maybe, if water in the bathroom could be a bit hotter and water pressure could be stronger, it would be even more comfortable :)

Nice big rooms with a great terrace and a good view. Good location. Breakfast was really tasty, the beds were comfortable, it was very clean and the owner is really friendly and can organise easily a taxi or other things for you. All in all we had a great stay in Ella.

Wifi could be better in the upstairs rooms and the water pressure is a bit low.

Perfect location. Quiet, but within a walking distance (5min) from the town center, shops and restaurants. Good starting point for hikes to 9 Arch Bridge and Little Adam's Peak. Breakfast was very good (especially coconut rotti). The owner offers a very reasonably priced tuk tuk service.

Very kind staff. Helped us with late breakfast on check-in (with "you decide" price), gave umbrellas for walking, described all the main attractions with the timing and distances, suggested what to do and when! Very clean room with a nice terrace for evening tea almost in the center but not on a main noisy road. Highly recommended!

Everything was fine!

This place was so close to Ella town (walking distance) so that it was easy for us to reach the restaurants and other places. Owner (staff) was very friendly and he helped us to plan the attractions to visit. Moreover, they offered a simplified map printed on a paper. When we reach there, there were no other guests at this hotel. So the parking space was manageable too. It was a clean and quiet place. Specially close to most of the tourists attractions.

First of all we had no idea what sort of facilities we are going to get, as in we read the description of it but we felt the room we got had somewhat less facilities than it what was there in the description. It was room/cabin no 4 as I remember we booked for two people and the bathroom door was broken and not that clean (we saw the other rooms next to us which can accommodate only two people but the rooms had good bathrooms) hot water was not working properly and barely working with the shower. We had no idea why the owner offered us that room as all the other rooms were booking free. Felt he mislead us there. When we entered the hotel he said I am gonna give you a upstair room even though you all have booked one from the downstairs (there were no selections related to floor on booking.com we only had the option to select room size) since we had no clue how the room assignments happen we had to accept what he offered. Anyways everything was manageable since it was two boys (myself and one of my friends) went on this trip. But I recommend you to check the facilities in your both rooms before you accept the room for your stay.
