We felt like we got a very good deal compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel staff seemed to care about their customers.

By the look of it, this hotel was once a very fancy hotel. Now, probably because of the climate (humidity) and owner change there aren't very high standards. Our window blinders had a lot of mould stains and as there was someone home facing our room then we had to use these most of the time. Bedsheets have seen better days - once fancy sheets and pillowcases made me feel like they had been used for a decade and Im aware of sri lanka standards. Most of the furniture was worn out.

Great location for all activities in Ella and close to the train station also if coming off the train. 5 minute walk from the centre of town with all the restaurants which was amazing. Always greeted with a smile and staff were friendly. Very attentive at breakfast which was overall okay. Would stay again for sure, as was good value for money.

Room was overall quite small which was okay because we were always out exploring. Bathroom tiny and towels could appear a little cleaner but hotel was always happy to provide additional towels.

The staff were so friendly, accommodating and kind. It’s a modern place to stay with lovely clean, comfortable rooms. WiFi and refreshments for the room are fantastic as this isn’t always the case in SL. Would definitely visit again.

Our stay was perfect! The hotel is very well located and the staff is the most helpful and efficient staff we’ve met during our whole stay in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

It was a brief stay but absolutely worth it. The place is amazing, deeped into the wild of the forest -and very close to the station, the city center and Little Adam’s peak. The guys are amazing, they gave us several suggestions about the things to do and they cooked for us an amazing breakfast. Furthermore, they also gave us as a gift a fork to help us eating rice and curry in the train! Last but not least, the building itself is wonderful, it has and “industrial” modern style that results very elegant. Awesome.

Very nice place looking over the jungle; clean, filled with amazing people that make you feel like home. Close to the main street where lots of resturants and bars are available. 14 min walk to Ravana point which is the same way to go to Adam's peak for amazing Sunrise view.

Everything was excellent

Great location just a short walk to the nearby town. The room was spacious and clean and the bed in particular was very comfortable. Perfect place for a couple nights stay in Ella.

The staff was so friendly. We got breakfast, even it wasn't included. Also we needed a late check out, and they offered us an other room where we cod wait until our train went. Location is really good. You are very close to the main road but enough away from all the noises :)

The shower, which is open, is mouldy and the bathroom is very little. Also there are no storage trays or something like that, so can't put your hygienic kit somewhere. And the room is also very little. We were 2 persons, each one luggage, and I hat no opportunity to lay my luggage somewhere down.
