Ich besuche dieses Hotel seit vielen Jahren (Safari Court). Aktuell ist das Hotel im Umbau und wird ein Mövenpick Hotel. Die Änderungen, die vorwiegend noch den Eingangsbereich (Rezeption, Bar, Restaurant) betreffen sind vom Feinsten und man darf auf das Endresultat gespannt sein.
Begreiflicherweise ist das Personal noch nicht sehr gut eingearbeitet, aber sehr freundlich.

Staff were very pleasant despite an initial confusion. It seems bookings through booking.com do not automatically update in their system.
Hotel still undergoing a major renovation. Certainly not yet at 4 star standard of Movenpick that I know. Only one floor was being used by guests.

The professionalism of the staff. There was no electricity for a long period, but services were provided.
The heat due to the lack of electricity. Was challenging.

While staying the week they had a conference plus renovation of the hotel resulting in very poor parking and a lot of noise.
Room was fair, had to complain 3 times to get them to change the TV remove batteries.

The hotel is very convenient as a base when arriving in Windhoek before driving out in the Namibian desert. Large parking space, good restaurant and a mall nearby for easy shopping is needed.
The hotel was slightly worn down, but renovating efforts were coming along. The room was quite cold (in the African winter), and the AC was clogged with dust and worked sub-optimally.

The breakfast was probably the best part of my stay
I booked a King bedroom and found out that the property only has double beds and three quarter beds. The rooms and bathrooms are in need a good renovation. The bathroom amenities were of a poor quality as well as the coffee/tea package

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff very helpfull and friendly and they assisted me with all the questions I had. Laundry service was on time as per the times given and I had no issues during my stay.
I was there when they were busy with the final part of the new foodcourt/reception area which looks great but was not fully operational yet. The only restaurant onsite had a very limited a-la-carte menu but also offered buffet, which made up for it.

The hotel has nice and spacious rooms, if you are lucky, you will get a room with a pool view, so appealing especially after a long day working or travelling, or you can go chill by the pool and order your drink and/snack and just unwind. it is closer to Aros Aiport, a walking distance when it is not dark. The food was great and the prices are reasonable. I never had their breakfast

The price on booking.com is not the actual price I paid. It was more expensive when I checked in and had to pay an additional amount.

The staff was unfriendly.
There was a dead dried cockroach in the bathroom.
I had the do not disturb sign on my door, on two occasions staff entered my room without knocking.
The bed is extremely hard and the pillows has lost its form/shape, uncomfortable.
