Our room was terrible, it smelt like sewage and the shower waste was blocked. When we left for the day we got back late to find our room had been left on 28 degrees . We couldn't sleep because of the heat

Room was lovely, clean well furnished with a comfortable bed.

One of the staff at breakfast was extremely rude to me on Saturday morning. We stayed on Thursday evening & there was a waffle machine on the island at breakfast so that we could make our own waffles This wasn't out on Saturday so I asked one of the staff if the waffle machine had been moved & she replied that they don't have a waffle machine (she was also on duty on Friday morning, so she was well aware that there was a waffle machine by the way!). I corrected her that I knew there was a machine & that we used it on Friday morning. She was shocked by my reply as she presumed that this was my first breakfast at the hotel. I asked if the machine could be brought out & she very abruptly said "no", so I asked if a waffle could be made in the kitchen for me. Her reply again was a rude "no". Lying and such a bad attitude is not what I expect from a brand such as Hilton. I was so appalled by her attitude that I spoke to the manager on the way back to my room. He apologised and offered me a snack or drink from the bar which I declined. He asked for a description of the young lady, which I gave, and he instantly recognised, and he said that he would handle the matter. I didn't want to cause trouble for the staff member, but she needs to improve her attitude or get a job that's not customer facing if she can't improve with further training, or whatever she needs to help her do a better job. The breakfast dining experience wasn't at the level expected for a Hilton hotel on either Saturday or Sunday morning. The fact that it was busy weekend shouldn't impact on level of service. The cutlery ran out on more than one occasion, brown sauce ran out, at one point there were no plates available. All in all I'd describe it as a shambles really.

Cleaning team were exceptional. Very friendly and worked incredibly hard to keep the rooms spotless. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and all.staff looked like they enjoyed their work. Breakfast was lovely no waffle bar, but premade american pancakes instead. Very helpful staff.

The tv in our room wasn't connected to the Internet, I only stopped one night or I would've asked about it. The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable.

Breakfast was lovely plenty of variety, rooms were very clean and tidy..

On the second morning we were shown to a table for breakfast right in the middle of everyone, unfortunately I am a private person and struggle to eat around too many people. It would be nice to be asked if you prefer somewhere quiet. Simply fir people like myself with a phobia.

The small little oversights that could have been shown better attention to detail such as no hangers, no remote control for the TV and apart from hair conditioner there was nothing to wash yourself with. The corridors were very loud because another booking the hotel had.

The position was fantastic. Managed to park in the hotel car park which was a bonus.

I stayed with my son and the sofa bed was not made up so when we opened it there was no bedding I had to go to reception at 1.00 am to request bedding and then struggle to make up the duvet etc ,then next day returning soaked to our room it hadn't been turned over so no fresh towels and back to reception to request them, lobby tea/coffee station didn't work any night overall very poor experience

The hilton always smells lovely and the air conditioned rooms are always good. The breakfasts is also lovely. Great location as tram it just outside and it's quiet also. Beds are very comfortable and lovd the black out curtains .

Normally our rooms are immaculate. This time there was what looked to either be chocolate of fecal matter on the sliding door where someone hand would go. The bathroom floor had quite a bit of hair on and around the flooring.

It was away from all the nightlife

I had a couple in the room next door to me who was sexually active most of the night, (glad they was enjoying themselves) but I have never been in a room where someone next door could even make your bed rock at the same time. I complained and nothing was done about it.

Modern, clean and comfortable excellent room. I had a disabled access room which considered my every need.

The location was ideal for the Pleasure Beach. Tram facilities nearby. Restaurant food was excellent. As ever with the Hilton brand the room was spotless. The staff were always friendly and accomodating.

Good location, close to local attractions. Breakfast good, even my fussy child found something to eat. Room was clean and quiet, with all basics you’d expect

For me the bed wasn’t comfortable the springs dug in me most of the night. Having said this for 1 night it was bearable not sure if I’d of managed another.
