Tim and Tanya were very friendly and helpful. The library/ living room was beautiful. All inclusive messaging throughout: hate has no home here, pollinator friendly garden, environmentally conscious...etc. Art from local artists on the walls too. Cosy vibe and atmosphere.

Downstairs shower room had close to no pressure, but the main floor shower pressure was decent.

Clean bathroom and don’t need to wait for others to come out. Big comfy living room and plenty of books.

Being woken up by guests trying to check in at 5am.

Washrooms and other rooms were pretty clean. There was free wifi and breakfast, and the staff was friendly.

It was too communal for my liking, and I could hear noises from the other guests during quiet hours.

I had a very nice welcome and tour through the Guesthouse. Laundry, kitchen and common room are free to use!

Owners are lovely people who clearly care about the guesthouse, part of which is also their home. The price can't be beat. There are small touches that make the stay nice -- like the tampons in the bathroom, and breakfast included. The owners were communicative, caring and flexible.

The photos of the four bedroom dorm for women didn't match what the room looked like, so the photos are out of date. The room was more cramped and full of stuff/furniture than the photos showed. The bedding was uncomfortable (scratchy, random and kind of old), but thankfully the owners/hosts said they would address this. There was also generally a very makeshift vibe to the downstairs area, where some (if not all) of the guest's rooms are. Strange and random flooring and doors that didn't quite the doorframe; homemade walls that felt a bit haphazard and makeshift. There are also no rules for guests, which is mostly fine if people have similar expectations of each other. But a guest in the 4-bedroom dorm refused to make calls in the common areas of the house when I wanted to take a nap, and the owner had to speak to her about this. Thankfully the guest finally listened, but setting out rules for guests would help to address expectation issues like this upfront.

The home as it reminds me off how thing looked back in the day at home the whole experience was amazing highly recommended

Convenient location, extremely clean and nice heritage building.

Everything was there. We could do barbecuing, play board games, take some food and do a lot of more in this accommodation. Thank you!
