I asked the person at the desk to give me a wake up call at 4:30 a.m. as I had to take someone to an early medical procedure. I also reminded the person at the desk about the early wake up call at the end of my check in. And I never got the 4;30 a.m. wake up call.

The location is great. The rooms was clean and spacious

The noise level from the airplanes landing. The hotel is in the direct flight path of the airport. Very noisey day and night.

The staff could not be nicer, but they are not organized. My room key didn’t work on day #2, they knew that would be the case and failed to tell me. No one ever answered the phone for room service. It took 7 phone calls and the front desk had to relay the message to the room service staff. Only half the order arrived. Also, my bill was very confusing.

Loved the traditional styling of the hotel, and comfortable rooms. Also very convenient for Dallas Love Field airport, and did not hear flights during the night, even though the rooms are not soundproofed. The proximity to the KT trail for exercise was great. Staff in the restaurant and bar were great.

On checking out I was told they would email my receipt. I requested this 3 times over the course of 1.5 hours, each time being given excuses; e.g. server delays, printer not working, which was clearly not true as another staff member was able to eventually print my receipt, upon which I notice several charges to the room that we had already prepaid as part of our booking. Eventually and after further excuses these were refunded, but the time spent resolving this was ridiculous, and completely ruined my previous good impression of the hotel. Also, whilst we were at reception another guest enquired about coffee shops in the area, to which the receptionist was unable to assist. I stepped in to point out the location of one just 5 minutes walk away. It is hard to decide if the reception staff we encountered were incompetent or just don't care enough to make the effort. If you decide to stay here I would recommend you check your bill carefully before leaving.

Housekeeping a bit sloppy - no door handles on bathroom door and trays left in hall for nearly 24 hours……
