Our room was better than expected, based upon the outside. Location was totally walkable to restaurants and marina.

Stairs, not having a self serve ice machine and outdoor poolside heaters didn't work (out of propane). Parking lot was jam packed...

Location is great to walk to restaurants and water front. Bed was very comfortable. Easy access to get to sight seeing.

There was some mold on the bathtub grout and paint chips on the walls. Other than that the room was clean. Most of the staff was great but one girl at the front desk when we asked her about access to Hop On, Hop Off bus she did not even know what that was, she did not seem to know anything about San Diego.

The hotel is located in a quiet area with lots of bars and eateries just a few minutes walk away. It's not too hard to catch the Number 28 bus, then the green tram to Gas lamp district. The day pass is $6 and works on buses and trams. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the gas lamp district. 20min to old town. Good parking and WiFi. Nice Broadway walk along the marina.

Our “harbor view” was of the next door restaurant and its parking lot. Hardly worth the extra cost.

really need green privacy on the fence to block out the parking lot, it would make guests feel more relaxed and safe!!! even if it’s fake fence vines, it would elevate your hotel! thank you.

Close location to everything within walking distance, has small pool, refrigerator, strong shower with hot water, very comfortable bed with nice floors and clean, big tv with satellite service, good in room coffee Maker. Other neighboring hotel guests were friendly and kept quiet late at night. Curtains made room dark.

Noise from restaurant parking lot of restaurant in back can be excessive but they provide ear plugs. No Microwave to heat up food. Snacks provided are very expensive so walked to nearby store to get snacks for much cheaper. No security seen but seems like safe area, but good to always be vigilant about surroundings.

Loved the location alot of stuff around restaurants , bars. Room was clean bed were comfortable. Other pll complained of it being nosey well that's what I read in the reviews, once we went in the room we didn't hear anything. Slept threw the whole night. Will definitely stay here again.

Room fixtures were nice and upgraded. Refrigerator available in the room. Comfort of the room was great. We didn't eat or drink the offerings of the hotel but they were available and not overpriced.

Hotel was recently renovated but the Paint touchups were awkward, not the remotely the same color. Housekeeping didn't service our room when we were out on 2nd day. No Harbor Drive bus or shuttle options- not on the hotel but just odd for a major city thoroughfare.

Helpful stuff, good choice of food shops (sea, brewery, American) located nearby, free parking.

First is "ocean/harbor/water view" option. That's a trick. I had room with the view option that looked onto...seafood restaurant and the harbor was BEHIND this restaurant. Second is a comfort. Due to the location near fisherman port and sea food restaurant you will be waked around 4.30-5.30a.m. by parking cars and trucks noise accompanied by slummed doors.
