The property was clean and updated. The breakfast was standard, but the attendant was very efficient and sweet.
The coffee maker did not work. The Guide on the TV did not work. Do you know how annoying it is in a hotel for the Guide not to work? I was especially annoyed by the $100 held for amenities. There are no amenities at a HIE! That is the point. I paid $10 more for a Courtyard the night before, and everything worked. Plus they had a bar, a bistro and a heated pool. The HIE had nothing. I’ll pay the extra ten the next time and not have $100 on hold for nothing.

They offered breakfast and the room was spacious and the staff were really nice and cheerful. Check in and out was pretty smooth as well.
The room seemed very cheap. The tv was really old, the air conditioning was really loud, you could also hear when the people above you flushed the toilets you could hear it. I have never experienced that before in a hotel.

It was given the accessible room to us without asking, we need to use a bath towel to control the water in the shower as there was no shower stall.

The best part was the showers. They were GREAT! Lots of water pressure and hot water. Dove products.
They also had fruit infused water in the lobby everyday that my kids enjoyed.
They looked short staffed. The people who worked the desk were working their butts off. Nice but you could tell they were stressed during check in.
Breakfast was pretty much the same thing every day:
Powdered eggs or cheese omelette. Sausage. Pancakes. Muffins/bagel/toast/English muffins. They had cinnamon buns and oatmeal too.
Fruit was apple/orange.
Cranberry and apple juices. Saturday they had orange juice.
Cereal, milk, and chobani yogurt.
Fine for a day or two. I wish they would have varied the protein and had more fruit. Lots of carbs. Limited healthy options.

The staff at the Williamsburg location is fantastic. I have already told friends and family about how accommodating the front desk staff is and how they went above and beyond to welcome me to their location. Jennifer and the manager on duty were phenominal!!!!
The shower is really finicky. The water pressure is okay but the temperature regulation is insane. Choices are either freezing cold or scalding hot. There is no happy medium. My husband and I played with the settings for over 15 minutes before giving up and just burning ourselves. It wasn't just our room either because this was the second time I've stayed at this location and the other room was exactly the same.

Convenient location to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Jamestowne.
No dietary accommodations. Sink inconveniently located on outside of bathroom near room door. Room serviced once during stay and no turn down service. Outdoor pool only.

Very nice hotel, extremely clean and comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm over this way as despite the minor complaints it was over very good.

The beds were comfy.
The smell of the bathroom when first arrived. The breakfast was awful. Did not restock any food, we went to breakfast @ 8am. Coffee was just warm with lots of grounds. The room would not lock with just the slam. Room refrigerator never feel cold.

Great location. Breakfast was great, the young man that was working the kitchen was really busy and awesome.
Loud guest running up and down the hallway after 10pm.
