Este impresionante apartamento está situado en el hermoso barrio de El Born de Barcelona, Centro histórico, conocido como Ciutat Vella.
Es en el umbral del Museo del Chocolate, el Parque de la Ciudad y el magnífico Museo Picasso. Se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie de la hermosa marina rodeada de palmeras y de la catedral, a 10 minutos a pie de las Ramblas, ya sólo 15 minutos a pie de las playas que llevaron a Barcelona se coronó Nº1 Beach City en el Mundo 2013-2014 por la revista National Geographic.
El apartamento tiene una superficie de 90m2 y ofrece verdadero hogar lejos del confort en el hogar y todos los lujos para hacer su alojamiento de vacaciones extra especial con alta velocidad de Internet de fibra óptica a 100 Mbps, pato edredones en invierno, una cafetera Nespresso y un sistema de cine en casa.

Beautiful property. It had everything we needed and more. Great location to public transport, grocery store, market, and endless eateries. Kay was great to communicate and work with. Thank you Sarah for meeting us upon our arrival. My family had a wonderful stay in Barcelona.

It was a very relaxing stay home away from home. The location was very convenient. We found a very nice little coffee just around the corner for our start of the day, it even opened at 7:30 am, what was awesome since we still had a jet lag. Our welcome was very nice. We got everything what we needed to know for our stay explained.

The apartment works very well as a staging point to explore Barcelona. Everything is walkable and the transit is close.
With two teenagers, we had plenty of space and the information from the host is excellent. From checkin to instructions for appliances, everything was easy.

El Born is such a great area of Barcelona to stay in, and the apartment was in the perfect location. It was very nice, and the hosts very so helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend the place for anyone visiting Barcelona!

Communication was brilliant. Kay set up a WhatsApp group prior to leaving for Barcelona between us. Daniel (local agent) met us as agreed, and managed the check-in process perfectly.
The apartment was exactly as described and the location was wonderful. Perfect base to explore Barcelona. We also took advantage of the restaurant recommendations in the information provided by Kay, which were excellent.
Overall, we had a great time and I would highly recommend Kay’s place for those looking for an apartment to stay for a small group in a location that doesn’t disappoint.

This apartment was exactly as described. Check-in and communication with the owner was easy and clear. For the trip we had planned, this was a perfect location, right in the heart of the old city, sites, beach and restaurants!
We live in a rural, quiet area, so the noise and night-time activity that the Spanish city culture brings conflicted with our sleep, but this has nothing to do with the apartment, just a heads up for those that are more accustomed to peace at night;) Don't avoid, just be aware and prepared.

We loved the apartment! The hosts were also great. They even made a book with instructions for how to use all appliances/electronics, as well as numerous area recommendations. It was very clean upon arrival. The kitchen has everything you’d need. The living area was extremely comfortable.
One negative: the listing shows this is a 2 bedroom. The bedroom with the queen isn’t totally separate. It is partitioned off the living area by an L-shaped wall. It is still fairly private, but renters may wish to know this.

Apartment was well furnished and provided welcome amenities like Nespresso maker, w/d combo, dishwasher and high quality linens. The bathroom is newly renovated and quite large, also the on-demand water heater ensured plenty of hot water for sequential showers. The property owner provided a very helpful guide for appliances and other “how to” tips as well as guidebooks and a helpful neighborhood map. Location within ElBorn is super convenient to shops, restaurants, waterfront and historical sites and boasts a fabulous patisserie downstairs and right around the corner. Taxi/uber drop-offs will be a couple of blocks away given location. Barcelona is a beautiful city. The local government is committed to keeping the streets and sidewalks clean and the people are friendly and helpful!

Kay's home is lovely, and perfectly appointed. An artful repreve from the magical winding streets it's nestled into. Comfortable, clean and safe. Everything was immaculate and the linens were so comfortable. We had stayed on an ikea mattress in our last city and were so appreciative of the comfort and easy Kay's home provided.

We loved our stay in El Born! The apartment is located in a cute quiet alley. It was very clean and well stocked with appliances, dishes and very spacious. The host, Kay, responded very promptly to any questions we had. Plenty of restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops around. The beach, shopping and attractions are within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teens who stayed in December of 2023. Overall we had a good stay and the location of the apartment is perfect for exploring the old town, markets, Picasso museum, waterfront and many other areas by foot. The apartment is in good condition, with functional furniture and a well-stocked kitchen. However, I think it is important to note something we did not realize when booking - the apartment is not a true 2 bedroom, the double bed is located in a partially walled-off area of the living room, with walls that don't go all the way up to the ceiling and there is no door to get to the area where the bed is. We made it work for us but it may not work for 2 couples or if people want to watch TV/ talk in the living room when others are trying to sleep in the double bed. The check-in went well except the meeting spot was tough to find, taxi driver took us to a wrong corner. Get an actual address or a specific landmark from the host where they would meet you for smoother check-in. Finally, upon checkout, we asked whether we could store our luggage since our flight was at 4pm, and were not given the option of storing luggage on premises but instead were told of a nearby shop where they accept luggage for a fee. The fee was excessive for 4 carry-ons and 3 backpacks we paid 45 euros which was upsetting. The owner was responsive and a few things that went wrong could have been a misunderstanding, so spell out to her everything you need.

We spent four fabulous days in Barcelona and we couldn’t be happier with the choice we made for accommodation. Kay”s apartment is right in the old center surrounded by nice restaurants, little stores and close to major tourist attractions. Kay was extremely helpful and always checking to see if everything was alright:) Thank you so much and I hope to come again one day…

Walking distance to everything. get the bus turista tickets for the hop on hop off bus and you won’t miss having a car. We are on american schedule and never needed a reservation.

It was the perfect location and apartment for our first visit to Barcelona. The apartment was as advertised and nice. The information notebook was very helpful. Our grandchildren joined us for one night and enjoyed the DVD selection. I would highly recommend.

This apartment is lovely, tastefully appointed, well equipped, and very comfortable. The owner, Kay, could not have been more hospitable and helpful. She was always accessible and very responsive. It’s location in El Born is very central, making walking to sights, shops, restaurants easy, even for a senior retired couple like us. For anyone who has difficulty with stairs, this apartment would not be suitable. Otherwise, we highly recommend this apartment for a visit to Barcelona.

This was our second stay in the apartment and we will do it again someday! Wonderful location! Apartment was clean and had every amenity we needed. Thank goodness for the air conditioning because it was hot summer weather. The owner responded almost immediately to every question and offered ideas for things to see. We had a great time and look forward to coming back.

We spent 4 nights with our two children age 10 and 11. It was the perfect spot for us. Walkable to many things, convenient for a rented car and public transport. Kay and her team were super helpful before, during, and after our stay. Would highly recommend!

Great property with a great host. Spacious and in a great location near sights, shops, and restaurants. Lots of amenities, including A/C washer/dryer, full sized fridge/freezer. Large modern bathroom. Would definitely stay here again. One thing to note: the property is only accessible by stairs.

We loved our visit to Barcelona. We absolutely loved the location of this apartment. It is in the middle of everything. Kay and her team were very helpful and responsive. The air conditioning and wi-fi was great and the kitchen had all the necessities. We highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment and neighborhood. We loved the clean and tiny streets and had good access to buses, metro and the airport (1 hour by public transportation). The house was quiet with good AC. I'm so glad we chose this quaint, convienent and quiet area over the other neighborhoods that are more touristy and full of shopping. Kay's communication was so helpful and we had a fantastic stay. Our teenage kids really liked the Moco museum, beach, Santa Maria Del Mar Church, gaudi church and buildings and the near by food market, Dia. Thanks Kay!

Kay was extremely communicative and cared about our needs. Even plug adaptors and charging stations were available. I highly recommend this apartment!

We were thrilled with the apartment in El Born!! The location is ideal, the furnishings were beautiful and the apartment had everything you would ever need. The space is very comfortable to a weeks plus stay.

We had a fabulous time at Kay's lovely home in the Born. It was very comfortable for four women and had everything we needed. Marco met us upon arrival to give us a tour of the home and how to operate all the bits. And Kay has a very thorough notebook with instructions as well. The neighborhood is close to the action (10 min walk to the Ramblas, 15 min taxi ride to La Sagrada Familia.) Muchas gracias, Kay, for sharing your wonderful home with us!
